Catalina and Narya

-So, like any witch worth her salt she had her sources. And she wasn't liking what she was hearing. As matter of fact the witch found herself pacing for no other reason than it helped to quell the swirling thoughts going through her mind. People came and went around her though she paid them little mind. They weren't important in the scheme of things or not as far as she was concerned.-

Daryos Elliott [5:11 PM]

One moment Catalina was alone and the next Narya was leaning against the wall watching her pace. He said nothing. Nor would he. Instead, he waited to see how long it would take her to notice him. He didn't know the reason for her irritation at this moment. Sure, he could figure it out quite easily. She could not deny him access to her mind even if she wanted to. She was his as much as his own arm ways.

Syeli Ford [5:22 PM]

-She whirled around when she sensed someone who did matter. Another life babbling at her as she sighed. She knew her connection to this man but his feelings for her was something she was unsure of. "Hello Narya." She said tilting her head to the side trying to read whatever she could from him.

Daryos Elliott [5:30 PM]

It didn't take her long to notice him. Whether it was because she just sense the presence of someone or knew whom he was didn't reveal itself until she spoke his name. He didn't know what of her past lives she recalled. "Hello Catalina." She would read nothing for him. His emotions and thoughts were hidden behind a wall. Unlike others she was allowed to know that wall was there. Most would see nothing.

Syeli Ford [6:06 PM]

-She continued to watch him unsure what to say. Finally she just put it out there.- You killed me. Does that mean I am not your priestess anymore? -Was that the same as firing her. She just was not sure. It made no sense of course what about madness did.-

Daryos Elliott [6:11 PM]

That answered that questioned. She recalled her past lives. Well, at least the one where he killed her. He let out a laugh upon hearing her question. "If I didn't wish for you to be my high priestess I would have said so." Killing her mad perfect sense. Her ego had gotten too big and he needed to knock her down a few pegs.

Syeli Ford [6:16 PM]

-Her eyes darted up at him.- Great. You always kill those you like? Or love? Or hell if I know. -She was so glad to know she needed to be knocked down a peg. It seemed everyone knew what she needed. The irritation from whatever was bothering her still clear.- (edited)

Daryos Elliott [6:25 PM]

"If they needed to be taught a lesson I will." It seemed that she missed the lesson since she was asking the question she was. He wasn't surprised. Some people you had to beat them with their lessons and some never learned. He didn't know what others thought, at least at this moment. He only knew at the time she needed to be knocked down a few pegs. She had grown too big for her breeches and the fact she was annoyed with him now only proved she still thought the same way.

Syeli Ford [6:35 PM]

-Figures.- I just figured you want to replace me too. Everyone else seems to want to. -She said her tone sad as she took a deep breath. She was just annoyed period right now. She felt like she wasn't good enough whether she would admit that was another story.- So, what brings you here?

Daryos Elliott [6:55 PM]

"You shouldn't make assumptions about my intentions." She might be annoyed, but that gave her no right to take it out on him. "You are my high priestess. I think that is reason enough to be here."

Syeli Ford [7:00 PM]

-She frowned.- I see. I would ask if you didn't come before cause I was crazy but crazy is your thing. I am not sure I make good company right now but you are welcome to stay.

Daryos Elliott [7:08 PM]

"I didn't come before because I wasn't ready. I was still making adjustment to being reborn." Some assumed the process was instant, but it was not. He might grow up quickly, but he still needed to grow into his power. He couldn't come collect her until he was at his best. Through, if she found him before than he wouldn't have turned her aside. "What's wrong?"

Syeli Ford [7:18 PM]

Is it strange being reborn as you are? -She asked tilting her head to the side.- Wrong...Do you know of my son, Skylen? He wanted to adopt Amelie as a mother and Bryce wants her to train him. As if I am not capable or that I need replaced.

Daryos Elliott [7:28 PM]

"I don't know any other way of being reborn." He probably find the way she has been reborn to be more strange, but it would take him a little longer to remember. He didn't know exactly. He just knew that the way he was reborn was normal. It was natural. He couldn't imagine being him yet not him. "Is it strange being born as you yet not you?" He turned his head to the side. "I believe so. He's the one whom seems more mermaid than you" He didn't mean those words as an insult. It was just his observation. "Did they say this? Perhaps, you should talk to them and hear their intentions directly from them."

Syeli Ford [8:26 PM]

That is true. -It was his only way.- It is kind of like one of those dreams where you put yourself as someone else but you know it is you. -She wasn't sure that would explain how it felt to her but it was the best she had.- No. But why else would they. I just got my son back and he is already asking people to adopt him. I already share him. And while I get why Bryce took her as a lover being connected he just suddenly asks her to teach our son no thought for talking to me. Like I don't matter. And to that woman she can't even deal with her own self let alone teach others.

Daryos Elliott [8:45 PM]

He turned his head to the side as he consider her words. "Does it feel like a dream because you recall whom we were or would it feel like that even if you didn't?" Would she feel differently if she didn't recall her past life? "I am not them, but perhaps you should speak to them before you become upset."

Syeli Ford [9:31 PM]

Some but like a waking dream. -She wasn't sure why she was telling him anything probably because she needed to put it out there.- It won't change the fact that obviously if looking for a different tutor I must not be good enough. I never thought Bryce would feel that way. Others have over the years but he always believed in me.

Daryos Elliott [9:43 PM]

He turned his head to the other side. He wasn't certain if he got it, but it was interesting to consider. It might be that or it might be that as her God she couldn't deny him. It might be that she trust him---even if he had killed her in the past. It might be because as his high priestess she was an extension of himself and telling him these things were like speaking to herself. "Or maybe he believes it doesn't hurt for your son to have multiple tutors." He didn't know what was going on inside Bryce's head. He didn't even know if Bryce knew.

Syeli Ford [9:51 PM]

-It was a complex thing to say the least. It could be it just felt easy.- Maybe he shouldn't pick people he knows annoy me. Like those who killed me and not that I care about that. I care that she did it to shut me up telling her the truth she didn't want to hear. But you bet I am going to have a talk with both of them. Even though I suspect Sky was just being nice or something.

Daryos Elliott [10:06 PM]

That it was. "Maybe, he was only considering what was best for his son rather than personal feelings. A lot of people don't like hearing the truth. Lies are easy to believe for a reason. Than you shouldn't be upset with the boy. He just cares."

Syeli Ford [10:26 PM]

Well it isn't best. -She said mumbling.- I know. It amazes me he is Bryce and my son. He is so nice. I guess it ust be how he was raised or something. -She tilted her head considering.-

Daryos Elliott [10:34 PM]

"Maybe." He wasn't going to say what was best for the boy. That would be something she needed to discuss with Bryceton. "It might be or it might just be his soul. You and Bryceton are souls of the dark. Bryce is high priest of the dark and you are a high priestess of one of the destructive concept. We don't know what Skylen's destiny is, but just because he is connected to two dark beings doesn't mean he is bond to the dark. Bryceton's previous incarnation is proof that a child does not share his parents connections."

Syeli Ford [10:47 PM]

-She was going to talk to the right people about it.- I suppose. Sometimes though I swear I can feel the dark just under the surface and it confuses me. Maybe I really just am crazy.

Daryos Elliott [10:52 PM]

"What do you mean? You are observant. You see things other people cannot." Some might call that crazy, but only because their mind were too small to grasp the world beyond their narrow perceptions. He was curious what she felt about the boy--her son. Was it her belief that he was dark because both she and Bryceton was or was she seeing something about him?

Syeli Ford [11:03 PM]

I don't know. I can just feel it under the surface like it wants to break free but is unsure. Is that possible? -She spent a lot of time watching her son. So one might say she paid attention to the subtle changes.-

Daryos Elliott [11:11 PM]

"It is possible. He is young---still discovering himself." He could imagine she watched her child a lot. He had been missing from her life for sixteen years. That was an eternity to a parent. He might have to watch the boy himself to see if he notice any of these subtle changes.

Syeli Ford [11:18 PM]

-He was. Who knew what his future would hold. He might indeed. After all what was one more person watching him.- I feel a bit calmer. Thank you for that. -Talking seemed to help.-

Daryos Elliott [11:26 PM]

Whom knew indeed. Well, fate might, but free will and all the possible choices he could make made it impossible to know which he end up living. "It's the least I could do. You are my priestess. It does me no favor for you to be consumed by your emotions."

Syeli Ford [5:17 PM]

-Fate probably did the jerk.- I get consumed by emotions a lot. You might have your work cut out for you. -She said with a smile- What do you think of my new life by the way?

Daryos Elliott [5:25 PM]

More than likely Fate did. "You were always an emotional being. The type of soul that feels things intensely." He allowed his eyes to look over her form, considering her question for a few moments. "It's nice."

Syeli Ford [5:34 PM]

Oh? Nice to know. -She offered him a smile as he spoke.- Do you suppose I could sit on your lap? -She didn't want to assume but she wanted to feel close to him.-

Daryos Elliott [5:40 PM]

"You could look at it that way." It was what it was. "If you want" It had been awhile since he had seen her. He missed her--even if he had been the one to kill her. It had to be done. She needed to be taught a lesson.

Syeli Ford [6:15 PM]

-She waited for an answer though one might say it was not wise to want to be close to someone who killed you before. Not that she ever really played things safe. So, she moved to sit down leaning back against him. His scent familiar to her on an instinctual level.-

Daryos Elliott [6:19 PM]

He didn't kill her out of hate or malice. Than again she was his high priestess that even if he had she might wish to be close to him. They were bonded together. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him.

Syeli Ford [6:22 PM]

-She stayed where she was at letting the stress and worry go for the moment.- I just want to rest here for a little bit.

Daryos Elliott [6:23 PM]

"Than do so." There was no reason for her to move yet. He had no pressing matters to attend nor did he think that she had any.

Syeli Ford [7:11 PM]

-She nodded allowing her thoughts to drift around her as she relaxed she would be alright here for a bit. In time she would have to go and  see some people but for now she could just be.-

Daryos Elliott [7:17 PM]

-That she could-
