Jessie had not realized how close she had come to her brother. If she had she would have...well she wouldn't not of had a drunken fling with him. But that was besides the point. She don't know what she would had done. But she was back on the street looking for signs of her brother or Taylor. Like normal she wasn't having any luck.

It was not hard to get close to Quintin. He was just that type of person, drawing people towards him like moths to a flame. The most ironic part was that Quin didn't realize it. If you asked him he would claim that he had a hard time making friends. It didn't matter. Hell, it didn't matter that Adya was related to Quin. The only thing that matter was her drunken fling had the potential of being more. He had watched her leave Quin's apartment and even following her down the street for a few moments before arranging an accidental run in. "Umpf Sorry. Are you okay?" Genuine concern appeared to be upon his face as he looked at her, ignoring the contents that had fallen out of his bag.

She had been drawn to him. Of course she would be drawn to her brother. It wasn't going to be more because the truth was going to come out okay it would be more they would go bacj to brother and sister. "Oh. Yes. I am fine. Oh you dropped some stuff. Let me help." She said bending down to gather the fallen items. Jessie was always one to lend a helping hand. Where Quin was quiet she was open.

She wasn't the only one drawn to him, and even if she wasn't related she might have found herself drawn to him. That was the point. Quin had an aura about him. Surely, she had noticed it as his sister. He might be quiet, but that didn't stop him from being the center of attention. "Good. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hurt you." He flashed her his most charming smile. If she paid attention she would see new paper clipping of missing people even one with her brother upon it.

She was sure he would live just fine. She paused frowning at the papers as she handed them too him. Her friendly tone taking on a cautious one as she waved her brothers at him. "Why do you have this?" She knew the detectives involved in the case he wasn't one of them. At least not that they hired and having so many cases put her on guard because if he was looking into them he might know who she was which made just running into her less and less one of those things.

He was about to tell her thank you when she was waving the article with her brother in his face. Good. She had noticed. Through, he had hoped for a little less extreme reaction. He suppose all things considered that her reaction wasn't extreme at all. He snatched the article from her hand. "My brother was taken." His own friendly tone was gone replaced now with one that took slight offense to her unspoken accusations.

She seemed to be considering his words as she relaxed just a little. "So you were trying to create a support group? Kind of strange way to go about it." She said watching him again. "Taken? How do you know he didn't run away. They keep telling us that Quin just ran away that most people just run away." She said this in a mocking tone like she didn't believe it,

"No. I'm trying to find him. Through, a support group isn't a bad idea." He flashed her a smile. "That's what the police said. He ran away, but I call bullshit. I mean I know my brother. He wouldn't just run away. Your brother is missing too? Was that whom was in this article?" He looked at the article she had been waving around his face.

"we said the same. He umm..he was suppose to get married and she was in the hospital. It was unlikely he wouldn't have at least came to make sure she was alright. After awhile Taylor his girlfriend she went looking for him and at first she kept in touch but after awhile she stopped. I got worried and came looking for well either of them. It was why I was so umm...well concerned when I saw this,"

"I see. I can understand why you was concerned. Probably thought I was some kinda stalker or worse." He let out a laugh, running his finger through his hair before allowing the laughter to vanish from his face. "Do you think something back happened to this Taylor?"

"I do. I mean she promised to call and she stopped and she isn't answering. It makes me wonder if she stumbled on something. And well...whatever that something is someone didn't want it to get out."

"It's likely." He turned his attention towards his files. "Is it wrong to say that gives me hope? I mean if she stumbled upon something that someone might not want to be found means that there is hope that I can find my brother again." He smiled again at her, softly again as if he was afraid of her reaction towards these thoughts.

"Either that or they are all dead and someone is just trying to get away with murder." She said with a sigh as she slumped down a bit. "I know think positive right? It is just I know Quinn...if he could he would like fight his way out. So if he hasn't he either is dead or seriously hurt or something."

"Ya, there is that. But, I figure if they are all dead that if I find whom murdered them that I might be able to find them and that would be finding my brother. And it would help a lot of people stop worrying. I mean we can't be the only ones whom think that our brothers didn't run away, You know?" He reached his hand out as if to comfort her before withdrawing it. "That's what they say, but it's kinda hard when hope seemed to have been dashed. My brother's the same way. He was. Yet, I can't shake the feeling that he is still alive. It might be nothing more than wishful thinking, but I can't help it." (edited)

"I guess. My friend says I should just move on and live cause that is what my brother would want but not knowing is like the worst." She looked at the hand he offered and offered a smile in return. "Sometimes I go somewhere and I swear I see him. dumb I guess." She let out a soft sigh. "Oh sorry. I am Adya Dalton but most people call me Jessie for my middle name Jessica."

"People say similar things to be, but I just can't leave it alone while there is still a possibility of finding him, you know?" He smiled at those words. "I know that feeling. There was a few times I even called out my brother's name and reached to touch someone. They never turn out to be him and they look at me like I am insane. I'm Nicolas Cooper, but most tend to just call me Nick." He didn't give her his real name. That would have been foolish. It might not be bad if she and Quin never saw each other again, but he couldn't be certain of that and he was hoping they would. He could just see it now. The two of them getting close enough to talk about their day and she just mentions meeting her friend. Quin will ask for a name. How couldn't he? He was an investigator. He breathed questions and she will say 'Alec Sancora' and that would be the end of their friendship. Of course, there was nothing to say they would see each other after this. She might not trust him and avoid seeing him. Then it was possible their paths will never cross again. Unlike, but possible.

She nodded. "That was how we felt. Taylor and I though she had an edge on me. She is a reporter so investigating was something she is good at. It is part of the reason I think she found something. I just know that it lead her to this city. Something about experiments. I am unsure what kind. Nice to meet you. Here I will give you my number if I find out anything I can share it with you." She said pulling out her phone. She had no idea but it seemed like sharing info was a good thing they both had the same goal after all.

"Ya, the more you speak of Taylor the more it sounds like she might have found something. I'm not a reporter or anything, but I have found a few things that might support that experiment theory. There was an explosion not to far from her not so long ago. No one knows what the area was used for, but some people suspect it was a government base used for secret experiment. I mean I don't know if people are just being well you know how people can get or if there is something towards it. Sure thing. I'll give you mine too. I could send you copies of the articles I found if you want" This was exactly what he was hoping she would do. They shared information and grew closer as a result. Whom knew what direction their relationship would take. Just friends or would they become something more?

"Doesn't it." She was glad she had but also worried because it might have meant someone had silenced her friend. It was looking more and more like something was up. she was going to talk to Heil she needed a friend. She smiled. "Great. It sounds like a plan." She told him. She was sure they would become great friends through their shared trauma. "I should go though. I don't want people to think I vanished."

Being worried was  natural in a situation like this. "That it does." Here to hoping. "We wouldn't want that. I probably should go home and look over the articles I have just found, and try to figure out how they connect. But, I will send you them."
