Kyrell and Liliah

Kyrell Giese [6:07 PM]
Home how strange it was that he was finally bringing her home, and she had asked for it. Given how long she had spent within that place he half suspected that she might come to view it as her home. Whom knows she might come to long for that place in a strange way similar to how Istvan did. Regardless, he was happy. He had found his daughter. It did not erase the pain of losing her, but he had found her and that was such a great feeling. One that any parent would understand. Once they were back within the Giese estate. He sat her down. He wanted to kiss her again, but he restrained himself. Miracles did exist. He was now looking at her, studying her face with such intensity that it was a wonder his eyes did not bore right into her. "You look like your mother." He finally said.

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [6:16 PM]
~ Home was a strange feeling, one she'd never really felt before and wasn't really sure what it would feel like now. That place hadn't felt like a home, it had felt like a crazy topsy turvy sort of prison. One she'd only survived with the help of that other consciousness that sometimes piped up, offering sarcastic advise or scathing insults that it claimed were helpful. Perhaps this would feel more like home to her, time would tell. As they appeared, her sky blue gaze flickered around the area as she sank into the seat he'd guided her to. Crossing one leg over the other as she got comfortable. It was then that she felt his eyes upon her, feeling like he were trying to bore a hole through her flesh. She blinked, flicking those light blues up to meet his own eyes. ~ I do?

Kyrell Giese [6:26 PM]
Only time would tell. He didn't know what that place had done to her---mentally or genetically---but he would help her figure it out. Through, her mother or uncle Michael would be better at figuring out her medium. He didn't know that, and no matter how much Ames might explain it to her he never would. It was the simple fact he didn't have a medium. He might be able to give her theories, but that was very different than practice. "Yes" It wasn't physically--not exactly--through he could see her resemblance to Amelie in that way---especially to the body she had given birth to her within. It was something else. Something more primal. Perhaps, it was the mere fact they both had medium. No, it wasn't that. "You probably have questions."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [6:34 PM]
~ Until today she'd thought she was alone in hearing voices, but the way with which the blonde...no she corrected herself, her mother had spoken. Made it sound as if that wasn't the case at all, plus the smugly annoying way the voice had said told ya so. She shook that thought off, wrapping her arms about herself as if to ward off a chill. Probably shock, she decided. There were slight similarities between her and her mother, they were both blonde for one. Though Lili's hair was a darker more golden blonde as opposed to the older woman's pale sunshine blonde. Her eyes were lighter too, sky blue verses midnight ocean blue. If there were other similarities, the girl was at a loss for how to describe them. ~ I mean...I guess so. I'll start with the obvious one. Where are we now?

Kyrell Giese[7:15 PM]
He could see that. Her mother's people weren't exactly running around within the between. Truth be told it might have been rare for her to encounter any other soul within that place even if she had not been kept like some delicate little bird inside a not so gilded cage. He had no idea what the master of the between had forced her to endure, but he couldn't imagine that it was pleasant. He seemed to be a man whom enjoyed torturing people. He was glad his reign of terror ended. Through, that was only an assumption. There was no way of knowing for certain that Istvan had won. Someday she might be able to find the words. Whom knew. "Asmiara. Estyrar if you want to be exact."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [7:24 PM]
~ She couldn't imagine anyone would willingly go to that place, well aside from them anyway and they'd had a solid reason. She wasn't even going to begin recounting her life there, not that she'd be able to forget it. But because she wasn't sure any of them could truly understand what it had been like, it was something she was sure you had to experience for yourself. Like Istvan had, a frown pulled down her brow, part of her hoped he had won. That he was alive out there somewhere and would make his presence known when he could. And not just because she hoped to be able to thank him, to talk to him. Kindred spirit to kindred spirit. She shook her head, she'd make herself sad again if she pondered on the man's fate too long. She repeated his words to herself to test them. ~ Is this like a country then? Or a kingdom? I figure Asmiara would be the whole planets name...

Kyrell Giese [7:34 PM]
Whom knows there might be someone. There were some strange people out there. However, that had not been the case for their rescue party. None of them had not been willing, at least not in the sense they viewed it as an enjoyable day trip. It had been something they needed to do. Well, for Kyrell at the very least. There was no question of will. The very moment he learned his daughter had been sealed away within the place he knew he was going after her. He would have gone there alone if need be and found a way to get her out---even if it meant he had been the one to leap into that hole. It hadn't come to that. He had friends and family whom were willing to risk themselves just because he asked and she had family whom loved her without limits. Whom knew? Perhaps he would return. "Yes, Asmiara is the planets name. Yes. It is part of what is called the Witch Kingdom which is a collection of separate yet connected nations. Estyrar is home of the Giese clan. My clan. This here is the main estate. The palace where the leaders of Estyrar reside"

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [7:43 PM]
~ Even if he had gone in alone, there was no way she'd have allowed him to jump in that hole. She wouldn't have allowed Istvan if he hadn't taken off before anyone could stop him. It made her feel almost guilty. The idea of someone facing destruction in the name of saving her, even if that hadn't been his reason for doing it, she was the reason he'd faced his fear and gone back there in the first place. Instead of dwelling on what might have been, she focused on what was. Nodding at his explanation. ~ So you're a witch then? Are they all witches? ~ She meant the ones she'd met, but it did make her wonder. ~ Just how big is our family?

Kyrell Giese [7:58 PM]
Whom said that she would have been able to stop him? It was difficult to sway Kyrell to another path when he put his mind to something, but she wouldn't know that. Even if she did it might not stop her. It certainly didn't stop his other children. That what it meant to love someone. You risked your very soul to make sure they were okay. "Yes. Well, technically I am a concept. Not all. Your Uncle Michael and mother are not witches. They actually come from whole another world." He smiled at her words. "Big. This is true for both sides. However, don't be fooled not every Giese is related to you. All witches within Estyrar tend to take the surname Giese."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [8:04 PM]
~ She might not have been able to, but if _she_ couldn't she'd have damn well let the other personality have a go. Something about letting it have control made her stronger, more resilient. She had no idea why. And hell, she could be just as stubborn. The very fact she seemed mostly chill after living so long in a waking nightmare could probably attest to that. His answer made her brow furrow in confusion. ~ What's the difference between a witch and... ~ She trailed off, his next words swallowing up her focus. ~ Oh hell.. How am I ever going to know the difference? And when you say big...do you mean regular big or I'm going to need a written list big?

Kyrell Giese [8:27 PM]
There would be those whom would argue with that. Those whom would claim he was the very definition of stubborn, but as his daughter she should be stubborn. He might have even questioned her relation to him if she had not been. Not really but he might have teased her about it in a manner that clearly said he was teasing. "By learning about your people. It won't happen over night but I am sure the difference will become as obvious as breathing. As for your question witches can go through three levels. The first is witch which one is born as. The second is King or Queen which a witch become after gaining a lot of power. The final stage is God or Goddess which again is acquired after an significant increase of power. A concept is more or less a god or goddess of a god or goddess. However, it is not something you can achieve. Our souls wee made to be concept. You might need a written list. I don't know how big your memories is."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [8:35 PM]
~ Was somebody more or less stubborn if they were born to two people who were equally stubborn as mules? It was something to think about at least. His teasing would probably have gained him rolled eyes and playful snark, something that quite possibly also ran in her bloodline. She'd noticed the way the ones whom were referred to as her mother and uncle had traded teasing jibes as they'd stepped into that room. ~ I wish I shared your certainty. ~ She mumbled before tilting her head and nodding as if she understood. ~ So you're super God. Got it. ~ Probably hadn't been what he meant but a god of gods...it was how she'd chosen to interpret it. She groaned softly. ~ I was afraid you were going to say that..

Kyrell Giese  [8:48 PM]
Whom knew? Perhaps they learned how to be more bendable because they had to deal with people so stubborn their whole life or the fact had parents so stubborn it makes them more stubborn. It could be possible that one stubborness had nothing to do with one parents, but something else entirely. It was something of the soul not the blood. "You're my daughter. It is my job to believe in you." He smiled at her words. "You could say that." Whether he meant it that way or not it was a pretty good way to interpret what he was saying. "You'll met them all in time. They are all very excited to meet you."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [8:58 PM]
~ She had no idea what it was that made someone stubborn or not, it was one of those philosophical questions you had to ponder. Her head tilted to one side, blonde hair cascading over that shoulder with the action. Her expression amusingly quizzical. ~ But you hardly know me... ~ Clearly it baffled her how people could just believe the best of someone who was technically a stranger, shared blood or not. She nodded. ~ How many uh...Super Gods are there? ~ His next words had her chuckling softly. ~ Okay cool. No pressure. ~ A playful grin tipping up her lips with the words. Had she deflected her tension with humour? That was such a Zagurian thing to do it would probably have made someone think: Like mother like daughter. ~

Kyrell Giese [9:29 PM]
He liked to think it depended on the person. Some were because their souls were such. Others became such because that was how they were raised. "You are my daughter." He said those words as if that was the only reason he needs and it was. "I don't need to know you to love you. I loved you even before you were born. You'll understand when you have a child of your own." He smiled at her words. "Twelve Super Gods and two super super Gods." Through, there might be more he didn't know about but those were the ones he knew. "None at all. I am certain people will love you once they get to know you." She might have her mother habit of deflection tension with humor but she seemed more open than her mother? Was that the right word. He didn't get sense of the same hardness or even bitterness her mother seem to possess. He might be wrong. It might reveal itself after the shock of everything wore off.

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [9:40 PM]
~ She blinked again, staring at him for a moment. Then seemed to shrug and nod, as if his explanation made sense, somewhat. Parents were a strange breed, something she'd probably not understand unless she became one. ~ Wait...there's something more than a Super God? ~ She gaped at this. She'd only just wrapped her head around that. ~ They might. They might not. It'll be what it'll be. ~ She wasn't bitter and she'd already been through enough that if she were going to be closed off, she probably already would be. Closing down had clearly been how Amelie handled her traumas in the time before the woman had begun to open up some, but that wasn't how she did it. ~

Kyrell Giese [10:04 PM]
It didn't have to make sense. It just what it was. He had vowed he would love his children no matter what. He might not agree with them. But, he had promised they would never feel what he felt like a child. They would know no matter what they were that he wouldn't change a thing about them. "Yes." It was a lot he knew that. This was the reason why he was attempting to explain things without getting into too much details. The details can wait. "The ones whom matter will." This was true. It said something of her strength that she haven't. She was reminding him of Ever in that regard. Ever whom no matter what life seemed to throw at her seemed to look at the world with the same eagerness and openness as a child going out inside the world for the first time. It was a trait he loved about Everleigh and he couldn't help loving that Liliah seemed to share some aspect of it.

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [10:12 PM]
~ Part of her wanted to ask him what in the world could be more powerful than a god that had more power than regular gods. But she wasn't sure she dared. Maybe her brain would explode from information overload. No, that was just silly, brains didn't spontainously combust. She shook her head at her own silliness. ~ Perhaps. ~ She wasn't going to begin to wonder about the reactions of her apparently huge family in regards to meeting her. Stressing herself out before she'd even spoken to many of them wouldn't help. Besides, Cole and Ever were nice. If all her siblings were like them she didn't think it would be a problem. And her Uncle had had a sort of soothing aura that could probably put anyone at ease. ~ Okay so...you're Super God and mum's...whatever it is she's supposed to be. The hell does that make me?

Kyrell Giese [10:36 PM]
He would have attempted to tell her if she asked. He like to imagine it would be filled with lots of hugs and kisses of those overjoyed with being connected or reconnect with a lost family member. Hell, if they all met her at once she might have been overcomes with it. No, it wouldn't. The only thing she could do was take it one step at the time but there was no doubt within his mind they would love her as he did. "That makes you half witch and half Fallacian/Baylencian."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [10:41 PM]
~ Her curiosity would eventually get the better of her because she suddenly blurts out. ~ Okay I know I'm asking like a lot of questions and I told myself I wouldn't ask this but then I kind of had to because curiosity is a pain. What's higher than the super god concept thingys? ~ Apparantly she occasionally rambles. Though, she'd had nobody to talk to in the between place...well almost nobody, she'd had the voice. Which reminded her. ~ Does mum's kind hear voices?

Kyrell Giese [10:48 PM]
Of course she did. She was his daughter. No, that wasn't it. She was a witch. They were curious creature by nature. He smiled at her out burst. "Ask as many question as you want Those whom created super god concept thingys" He didn't mind the rambling. It was kinda adorable. Showed that she was a typical person her age in spite all she had been through. "One side of her. I believe it is the Baylencian half that has an...as your mother put it...a medium. From what I understand it is an alter ego. Your mother would be better at explaining it than I"

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [10:57 PM]
~ She blushed a tad, embarrassed by her own outburst. ~ You're sure you don't mind my crazy questioning? ~ Because of course she had to ask that question too. Her brow furrowed. ~ Huh? ~ She looked confused and equally as curious. Though after a quick shake of her head, the expression became more thoughtful. ~ Oh...I was beginning to think I'd gone a tad insane...there's this voice that's been with me. Hell I don't know how long, I don't even know how much time I've spent...there.

Kyrell Giese [11:13 PM]
"Not at all." Of course she did. It was the perfectly logical thing to do in a situation like this. "It's in our creation story." He did not expect her to know this story. "In the beginning there was nothing but the void---a primordial darkness--and this darkness wondered how he came to be and if he could create more life like he was. In the process he created the six destructive concept but another life was growing within him--light. Light burst forth from him and she eventually created the world of Asmiara and witches. She wished for her children to be guided so she created the concept whom she gave traits she believed they needed to grow" He smiled at those words. "Whom knows you might have been. You were taken when  you were a baby. All things consider you weren't gone that long where actual passage of time of this place is concerned."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [11:20 PM]
~ Her eyes lit up as he explained, spoke the story that filled in the blanks his brief explanation had left. She decided she liked stories, nobody had ever told her one. That she could remember at least. ~ Then there are actually twelve of you. Six for the light, five others like you. Six for the dark. ~ She couldn't think of a comparison for them. She wrinkled her nose at him. ~ Are you calling me crazy? ~ At that moment the voice piped up with: "We're all mad here." ~ Oh shush, nobody asked you. ~ She rolled her eyes. Before smiling sheepishly. ~ So how did you and mother end up crossing paths. She's not from here...no connections, right?

Kyrell Giese [11:28 PM]
No, he suppose she wouldn't remember the stories that he or someone else might have told her. "Yes. Funny enough they are all connected to you. Everleigh and Colden--your brother and sister" He figured she would know whom he was talking about "Each are a concept." She might in time. "Maybe. Just a little." He brought his hand up to squish his finger together until that little was none existence. "Your mother is actually the high priestess of darkness, but when we met she did not know that. We crossed paths because we decided to kill the same person." That felt like forever ago. He felt like a different person than the man back than. Did Amelie feel the same way?

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [11:40 PM]
All of them are connected to me? ~ Her eyes widened a tad and she nodded. ~ My father, two of my siblings...who are the others? And you said concepts were like ideals. What are the ideals? ~ Her thirst for knowledge was surprising her, but also letting her think of something besides where she'd been. She picked up a nearby pillow and whacked him with it, giggling softly as she did so. ~ Oh wow, is that usual? Outsiders becoming connected to this world like that? Or does mum have a deeper connection that she realises? ~ It seemed like she was trying to puzzle out why the Dark would choose a creature from another world. ~ Why doesn't that surprise me?

Kyrell Giese [11:53 PM]
"In one manner or another." He only smiled at her thirst for knowledge. How much like her siblings she was like in that. How much she was like a typical witch. Truth be told, he thought someone her age should have such a thirst. "Another brother is another creative concept as we are called. So is an aunt and a sister-in-law. The destructive are all your siblings." Even if they weren't Kyrell claimed them as such. "The ideals for the creative concepts are: Magic, Nature, Fate, Imagination, Life and death. The destructive are: Madness, Chaos, War, Manipulation, Decay and Disease" When she whacked him with a pillow he grabbed another and returned the favor. "We believe---or I at least---that she once had a life upon Asmiara in which the darkness picked her to be his high priestess." He smiled at her words. "I don't know. Perhaps because you lived in a world where the unusual is normal"

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [12:06 AM]
Holy crap that's a lot of siblings. ~ She let out a soft squeak as the pillow attack was retaliated, holding up her hands in mock surrender. ~ Cool. Should I guess which one you are? ~ She didn't wait for him to answer that particular question, before she was asking another. ~ Which are Colden and Everleigh? ~ Because if she started with the ones she knew, process of elimination would leave only three others to account for. She'd figure out the darker six later. Her brow furrows. ~ Does mum know this? I mean have you shared the idea with her? ~ Her lips twitched. ~ That place was so freaking strange I'd started to view strange as normal. I think if I saw someone ordinary now I'd think they were strange.

Kyrell Giese[12:16 AM]
"That's not all of them. You don't have as many siblings on your mother side." He let his own pillow fall when she surrendered as she did. "Where is the fun of guessing if I told you that? I thought you should guess us all." That was sound logic "I don't know. She might suspect it. Your mother is not stupid. Sometimes blind but not stupid. I think she knows more than she knows she knows. However, I think before the accident she was closer to knowing than she is now. I have a feeling that now you are safely home that she will start looking at it more intensely and she will find her way towards it on her own." He smiled at her words. "I've only been there a short time and I can see how it would screw your view upon things. But, it does show you how strong you are that you managed to survive within that place for as long as you did." He was not just talking mentally but physically...spiritually as well. From what he knew of that place it consumed those whom are too weak to fight against it. He had thought the void did that and it did but the void...how did he put it...was more welcoming. It was like being wrapped in a warm blanket while the between was like being dunked into ice. Was that the best way to describe it?

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [12:26 AM]
You make it sound like you've got an army of kids or something. How many others does mum have? ~ She hugged the pillow she held close to her chest and stuck her tongue out at him. ~ Hmph. Didn't realise it was a test. ~ Good humour made her eyes sparkle, though she did start looking at him speculatively. ~ Really? Because I don't think she realises the depth of her own power at all, I can feel her the way I can the one she called my uncle. Like calling to like I guess and it seems like there's something there, beyond the elemental stuff she did. Buried deeper than the combined power of both sides of her bloodline. I don't know maybe I really am crazy. ~ She nibbled on her lower lip. ~ I don't know that I could have done it without that voice. I'd black out sometimes, lose moments of time. It always happened when I was scared or...or something was happening that overwhelmed me.

Kyrell Giese [12:37 AM]
"Just a small one. Four including you." That was right, wasn't it? Alea, Zach, Kaia and her. He was pretty certain that was correct. "Well, five if you count Everleigh but I figured since we are counting her on my side that we wouldn't." He stuck his tongue at her. If she liked humor than she was going to fit right into this family. She had noticed the banter between her mother and uncle and well Kyrell loved a good joke. "Life is a test, golub'" He smiled at her words. "I think you are correct. I think there is a depth to your mother she haven't yet realized. She didn't realize it before you were taken, but I thought she was closer to it than she currently is. You might have. Whom knows. You are my daughter and believe me from what Colden and Everleigh believe that is a power within itself." *He used to recall them as children during their play cry in an excited manner that they were the children of Kyrell Giese. "From what I understand from your mother that is quite common. Your medium was taking over. Handling situation that was a bit much for you."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [12:46 AM]
There's such a thing as a small army? ~ She gaped at him, as if she thought he was a bit mad. Though she nodded. ~ Doesn't sound like mum's family is all that big then. ~ Of course she hadn't factored in siblings besides the uncle she'd met, or his side of the family. Humour was a good deflection tool and destressor, or so she claimed. Though, with where she grew up, she's convinced she only has a sense of humour because the voice kept snarking at her. ~ Huh? What did you just call me? ~ When he seconded her insight, she grinned. ~ I wonder if someone out there knows. For certain I mean. And...declaring you can win because of who you are... ~ She squinted at him. ~ Stubbornness, refusal to be swayed from said belief. I think I'm starting to figure you out already. ~ She nods. ~ I figured.

Kyrell Giese [12:55 AM]
"Of course. An army of 5,000 is small compared to one of 10,000" Of course, he didn't have that many children not that he knew. "It's pretty big from what I understand. I'm not sure how big." It was. It really was. He like to think that wasn't the case but whom knew. It was possible. "Golub'? It means dove in the common tongue. Someone might." He bet if anyone did it would Areli. "Oh? Are you ready to guess which concept I am?"

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:02 AM]
Five thousand is still huge Dad. ~ She huffed. ~ I hope to gods that isn't the actual size of you mini army. ~ She's half serious, half teasing him. Her head tilts to one side. ~ Dove? We're at the pet name stage in our bonding already? ~ She lets the topic of her insight into her other parent go for now, poking her tongue out in a look of mock concentration. ~ If an ideal could embody stubborness...I'd say it's the one most likely to become upset if someone sways from the path it thinks they should take. ~ She muses. ~ So...at a guess. Fate maybe? ~ Was it a guess or was insight into others one of her tricks? ~

Kyrell Giese [1:11 AM]
"But, it is small compared to ten thousand." He beamed at being called Dad. He hadn't expected it. He hoped for it, but he had not suspected it so soon after her rescue. "No, my mini is closer to 3,000" He returned her half teasing with a complete joke of his own. "We are at the pet stage in our bonding the moment I fell in love with you" Whom knew. It might be her specialty. If she hadn't been taken they would know this by now. "Ding ding ding you are correct. I am fate."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:16 AM]
~ Oh she so wanted to throw a pillow at him, it was obvious from her expression. ~ Oh ha ha very funny. ~ She snarked instead, not ready to give up the pillow she was hugging. ~ Has anyone ever told you you're a bit odd Dad? ~ She fought to suppress her grin at that thought. ~ Really? No way. I just...observed and made a educated guess. I didn't expect to be right.

Kyrell Giese [1:21 AM]
He just grinned at her---almost mocking her to give into that urge and throw the pillow at her. "All the time. I've learned to ignore them." He gave a short nod of his head. "I'm just an easy man to figure out." He was only teasing her before he reached out to ruffle her hair. "Good job." Just than a voice said "Do me? Figure Dojan Keir out?" The voice whom had decided to take the form of a wolf pup crawled right into Liliah lap. Well, he actually tried to crawl between her and the pillow. Kyrell grabbed him. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" "Noooo. I awake"

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:30 AM]
~ She narrowed her eyes, they seemed to flicker but it was too quickly to register the possible changes in colour before they settled to normal again. ~ I suppose that's a good thing. You are though. Lil bit odd. ~ She attempted to duck under the ruffling attempt only to fail. Her hair poking out at mussed angles when he was done. Huffs. ~ Thanks. ~ She squeaked a second later, jumping and nearly toppling out of her seat, in fact she did nearly fall over the back of the sofa. Would have if at that moment two extra appendages hadn't appeared to help her regain her balance as her father grabbed the source of her fright. Squints at the wolf pup while wings that looked like they belonged on a pixie, the small fairies depicted in childrens stories twitched lazily at her back. They looked delicate, black as night. Like the softest touch could damage them. She smiled sheepishly. ~ Sorry. Guess I'm jumpy. Who's this?

Kyrell Giese [1:39 AM]
Was that her medium revealing itself? Was she had her limitation for the evening? It would be understandable if she was. She had been through much. He smiled at her words. "You'll learn I am more than a little odd." He was tempted to ruffle her hair once again, but it was at that moment Dojan Keir decided to appear. He was going to set Dojan Keir down and aid her, but it seemed she had everything under control. That had to be her medium. "You are fine. There is no need to apologize. He'll shock anyone coming at them like that even in the best circumstance and after what you endured...." He didn't need to finish that statement she would understand. "This is Dojan Keir. Your nephew." The pup started to protest. "No, don't tell her. She's suppose to do me herself." "I didn't tell her whom your parents were." He looked as if he was debating that than turned his eyes towards Liliah waiting

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:47 AM]
~ If he remembered, or watched closely. Her mum's eyes flickered like that too, usually when the woman was angry and verging on unleashing her other half. But sometimes it happened just because they were nearer the surface. ~ Oh goodie I can't wait. ~ She quipped, a grin twitching her lips. She flicked a glance to her dad, rueful smile touching her lips. ~ It happens instinctively sometimes. Like..when we were falling...they wanted to emerge then, my brother had other ideas. Sometimes I think the voice has better mastery of my power than I do. ~ She returned those sky blues to Dojan. ~ I have to have some idea where to start. The insight doesn't just happen... ~ Then she thought of how she just knew that little bit of knowledge about her mother. ~ Not all the time at least.

Kyrell Giese [12:18 PM]
They had, but he was not going to assume that what was happening now. Through, it seemed very likely. More so considering all that had happened. He matched her grin with one of his own. "Instincts are good. They keep you from going splat. That might be." He didn't know for certain, but they did emerge when a situation became too much to handle. Having a better mastery of someone's power made perfect logical sense. "Okay I Dojan Keir Von Giese Von Paxton Von Von" He said before he begun to playfully nip at Kyrell's finger. "Perhaps with a little training they could just happen. "

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:08 PM]
~ She took a breath and after a moment seemed to manage to will her wings to disappear again, something that happened a little less smoothly for her than it had for her mother or Michael. Once they'd fully vanished, she settled back against the sofa once more, tugging the pillow back into her lap. ~ This is true. ~ This time hadn't been like the other times, where she'd lose time and awaken later. It wasn't a transition between primary consciousness to Medium, she'd simply thought she was going to fall and instinct had summoned the wings. She blinked at the wolf pup. ~ Somehow I doubt that's truly your entire name. Too many Von's ~ She suppressed a snicker. Flicking a glance back towards her dad. ~ Oh?

Kyrell Giese [1:21 PM]
If he remember correctly from what Amelie had told him the medium and the Baylencian had to learn how to cooperate. The fact she seemed to have less control over her powers than from the few of those with mediums lead him to believe that this balance had not been achieved. "Your brother Keir used to do the same thing. His wings would appear whenever he was falling and he was unaware of the fact." The pup narrowed his eyes at her. "It is. I have all the Vons." What that was suppose to mean was anyone's guess. Just the logic of a small child. "Yes. Perhaps, not literally but you might be able to read someone so quickly that it will appear like it just happened."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:30 PM]
~ That was the case, the best way to tell when cooperation had been achieved was if the Zagurian called the alter personality by a name. Lili simply referred to hers as the voice. She tilted her head. ~ Is this brother from your miniature army or mum's brood? ~ She reached over and tapped the wolf pup playfully on his nose. ~ If you say so squirt. ~ She pondered for a moment then added. ~ He kind of reminds me of Everleigh. ~ Blinks. ~ Read people? I thought I was just observant.

Kyrell Giese [1:39 PM]
He wasn't certain how long it took for one to learn how to cooperate with their medium. Like most thing it might differ from person to person. "My miniature army." The wolf pup nipped at her finger in the same playful manner had Kyrell's before letting out a yawn. "Does he?" The child pipped up at this. "I remind you of mama?" If he still had wanted her to guess he gave it away with those words. Through, one could claim Liliah had figured it out. "I think what you do is more than a simple observant. It might be remnants of powers you inherited from your mother."
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:47 PM]

Witches have wings? ~ She tilted her head, letting out a soft squeak at the nip to her finger. Chuckling ruefully a second later. ~ I mean...present company excluded. ~ She nods. ~ Yep. The same exuberance. ~ While she hadn't been in her sister's company that long yet, she'd seen enough to note that. Her lips twitched. ~ Well, I guess I figured that out pretty quick. ~ Her expression turned thoughtful. ~ Maybe. I suppose it's possible.

Kyrell Giese [1:58 PM]
"No. Witches mixed with something else can have wings." This only encouraged Dojan Keir or would have if he hadn't decided to promptly fall asleep. "That he does" The more she get to know Everleigh the more she realizes how exuberant Everleigh was. "There is no suppose about it. Your mother is a telepath. It is as very inheritable power. You might not have inherited. Given that I don't have it, but since I believe your mother other children has the powers in some form it makes sense that you would as well."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:03 PM]
Is he part angel? ~ Her question seemed like the logical choice, at least she hadn't asked if he was part bird. She giggled at the sleeping pup. ~ I think he should have stayed in bed. ~ She had no doubt about that at all. ~ Wait...you think I'm reading minds? ~ If her eyes shot any wider they'd pop right out of her head. ~

Kyrell Giese [2:18 PM]
"Yes." He laughed as he ran his finger through the pups fur. "He wanted to met you." Dojan was very perceptive. He probably knew about the mission to save his aunt and when Kyrell arrived home with her he probably sensed that. "I think it is very likely"

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:22 PM]
That is so cool. ~ She grinned, reaching out to stroke the pup too. ~ He could have met me in the morning. ~ She giggled, her lips settling into a soft smile.  ~ Wouldn't I notice if I was invading people's minds? And if I didn't wouldn't they notice?

Kyrell Giese [2:32 PM]
"It is. He's still learning how to use his angelic powers. He only recently realized he had them" The pup didn't even stir at the touch. "He's not very patient." He shook his head "Not at all--especially not if you believed everything was occurring inside your head. Than there is the fact you had been in the between. You might have believed those thoughts were just another trick or since you already have a voice you might have believed they were hers---even if some deeper part of you knew this wasn't the case. Most people don't notice someone had read their mind until they had their thoughts spoken aloud. It takes someone of immense mental power to feel someone inside their own head."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:40 PM]
~ She nodded. ~ That makes sense. I still don't even know what I can do. I have this feeling that I've used magic before but I wasn't exactly me at the time. So I don't remember doing it. ~ She giggled. ~ Are small children ever truly that patient? ~ She peered at the sleeping pup. ~ How old is he exactly? It's hard to tell whilst he's furry. ~ She canted her head to one side. ~ The voice sounds more distinctively like me, but harsher. As if she's all snarl and anger or something. Wouldn't thoughts of others sound like them?

Kyrell Giese [2:52 PM]
"Honestly I don't know what you can do either. Witches powers are not set in stone, and there is your mother's side to consider. You are the first of such mixing. It is impossible to know what that means exactly. However, with that said I know you are my daughter and you can do anything you put your mind to. Remember this: Magic is your will thrust against the world." It was a saying that witches grew up hearing. It was the foundation of their power. There was nothing they couldn't do if they put their mind to it "You probably did. Your medium likely took over during those moments." He smiled at her words. "Around three" He stroke the pup gently. "I'm not an expert, but perhaps a part of learning how to control your powers is distinguishing one voice from another."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [3:00 PM]
~ She nibbled on her lower lip, her expression one of thoughtful curiosity. ~ Okay. So I'm a wild card. Nobody knows what to expect from me. ~ She paused then added. ~ What can you do? I mean...if I inherited things from mum, it stands to reason I might have gotten something from you too. Even if it ends up manifesting differently. ~ She blew out a breath. ~ That's what I mean. She was in the drivers seat so to speak. It makes sense, I haven't had any kind of magical training to know how to access power. But if your right and the voice is supposed to protect me then it stands to reason she simply woke up with the knowledge preprogrammed into her or something. ~ Her lips twitched. ~ So he would have been older than me if...well... ~ She gestures at herself. ~ Maybe. Probably a question I should ask mum.

Kyrell Giese [3:12 PM]
"Pretty much." It would be interesting to see what she could end up doing, but that was true of any of his children. "My powers are not inheritable. There are very few witches power that are such---telepathy being an example. If you gain the same power that I have it would be merely coincidence. The things you will inherit from me will be looks or personality traits. There are those whom believe that power run in family lines, and that if a father is powerful so will his daughter but this is not true. Your power is determined by something else beside circumstance of birth. I didn't think you would have." Why would her capture train her when she was kept as only a nice little bird? "But, we can always start. As long as you are breathing it is never too late. It probably did. Whom knows it might even be protecting you against a problem witches your age tend to have." Of course, this was assuming she went through magically puberty. Her mother's side might have eliminated it all together. "Yes, he would have. Don't be surprised if he doesn't try to hold you. He doesn't like accepting someone being bigger than him when they are technically younger than him. " He gave a nod at this "You should. She would know more on this topic than I."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [3:20 PM]
~ She nodded, lacing her fingers together in her lap. ~ Okay. Makes sense...I think. ~ Her brow furrows. ~ So how do you like tell what power you have? I mean, it's not like I can just ask her. She's uh, prickly at the best of times. ~ It was obvious she was speaking about the alternate personality. ~ Really? I think I might be a bit big to pick up now. ~ She giggles, filing away her questions about mental powers to ask her mother when the woman reappeared. ~

Kyrell Giese [3:31 PM]
He just smiled at her words even if it didn't makes sense now it make in the future. "Trail and error. Through, you might find that you can do any spell. However,  a witch has a specialty. A power which they are best at using. We have a test to determine this power." He smiled at her words. "That won't stop him." He did it to Narya all the time.

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [3:36 PM]
~ She huffed softly, slumping down in her seat. ~ I see. ~ Her eyes flicked up to stare around the room for a moment. ~ How do you test something like that? ~ She chuckled softly. ~ Well I'll try not to squish him if he actually manages to try it.

Kyrell Giese [3:41 PM]
"Mostly by putting you in a scenario where are required to use your powers to get out of and seeing which of the powers you use more often and with the most ease" She would see if she ever decided to take the test. It might be possible being a half-breed she had no specialty.  This was true of a witch period, but it seemed more so for one whom wasn't a full witch. "He actually likes it when you try, but that is probably a good idea."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [3:46 PM]
I see. ~ She didn't sound fully certain that she did but she had to figure out a way to access her magic without relying on her alternate personality. She'd be a lousy witch if she couldn't do it on her own. ~ I wouldn't want to hurt him.

Kyrell Giese [3:57 PM]
That she did, and they would not have her take the test until she did. It was a good thing she still had plenty of time before it became vital she took the test---even with her being taken for them and putting how old she was now. "He's stronger than you might think."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [4:06 PM]
~ That was probably a good thing, given she didn't even know a simple spell. She sort of wanted to see if she could do something stupidly simple like turn the pillow invisible or make it float. Anything to unlock some kind of magic, then an idea occurred to her. ~ Can you show me something simple? ~ She tilted her head, chuckling. ~ I will keep that in mind.

Kyrell Giese [4:19 PM]
He would say go for it. One never knew what they could do until they tried. But, it might be possible that simple spells could allude her while complicated spells came naturally. "See that vase over there?" He waited until her eyes were upon it before causing it to shatter. "So are you." Of course, she might know how strong she was. She has survived that place after all.

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [4:26 PM]
~ She didn't know whether she'd be able to do it until she tried, she knew that. It was the reason she asked for a demonstration, maybe watching him use magic would help her figure out how he did it. Her eyes moved around the room until she found the vase he was pointing to. ~ I see it. ~ A sound that was half gleeful laughter, half surprised squeak escaped when it promptly exploded. She tilted her head, studying the fragmented pieces and picturing them returning to a cohesive whole, trying to will it to happen. A few fragments slid closer, fitting themselves back together. But it still wasn't fully repaired. She frowned, remaining focused upon it even while she gave her father an absent minded nod. ~ I guess so...

Kyrell Giese [1:02 PM]
If she figured out how to do a spell solely by watching him than she would be like him in that regarded. He could watch a person and figure out how to do a spell just by watching them, or construct his own spell to do something similar. The simple ones would happen right than and there, but the more complicated ones could take some time. He was still quicker than those whom didn't have his talent. He smiled at the laughter, watching as she willed the pieces closer. They moved. Which was a good sign. "Good job. Keep trying you are almost there." He looked at her for a few moments. "You are."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:14 PM]
~ She could hear him, though it sounded further away with her mind focused as it was on making the vase whole once more. At first it seemed like she'd gain no more progress and then as if a switch flipped the pieces snapped together into a cohesive whole. Not even a crack remaining. She grinned, clapping her hands together in delight. It would seem observation was a helpful tool after all. ~ There. Now nobody has to clean up the mess. ~ She flicked her gaze at him. ~ I don't know if I'm the strong one or if she is, or if it's both of us.

Kyrell Giese [1:31 PM]
"Good job." He watched the pieces snap together. It appeared she was his daughter in that regard, or they shared that. "But they servants love cleaning up my mess" Truth be told if she couldn't have put the vase back together he would have. "Both. She was strong to defend both of you during the moments that you needed it, but you are strong in the sense that you did not allow that place to break you as it might someone else."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:35 PM]
Thank you. ~ Her grin widened at the praise. ~ I'm not entirely sure how I did it. It's as if I saw how they broke apart and reversed the process. ~ She shrugs, narrowing her eyes playfully at him. ~ That doesn't mean you should make mess on purpose. ~ Her look turned contemplative. ~ I guess you might have a point there.

Kyrell Giese[2:03 PM]
He nodded his head at her words. "You inserted your will upon the vase. You wanted it to be whole and it became so. With time you will learn how to do this for other things. And if you are anything like me magic will became as easy as breathing for you. I do what I want." He gave a short nod to her last words. He did have a point. She knew that he did. "You must be exhausted."

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:07 PM]
~ She nodded her understanding. ~ I suppose I did. ~ She chuckled softly, giving him a mock stern look. ~ I don't know about that, sometimes even breathing isn't all that easy. ~ She bit her lip to keep from laughing at that almost poor attempt at humour. Stifling a yawn a second later. ~ Little bit.

Kyrell Giese [2:36 PM]
"You'll get there." He offered her a smile. He was not surprised by her words. Just because she seemed to be handling things well did not mean she was not suffering. "Than I will let you get some sleep. We will have plenty of time to spend together and I am many people will want to meet you tomorrow." He will attempt to ensure that her mother was first in the line.

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:42 PM]
I hope so. ~ She smiled weakly, she didn't want to be the one that couldn't figure anything out. That would suck. Her expression turned slightly sheepish as she suddenly realised she had no idea where she was supposed to sleep. ~ Sounds good, but uh...where am I supposed to..? ~ She let the question hang hoping he'd understand then added. ~ Not too many at once I hope. ~ She'd understood exactly what had happened when she'd felt her mother appear not long after they did and then slip out, she was attempting not to crowd her. And she was grateful for that. Hell she could sort of feel the woman somewhere outside, probably always would thanks to the voice. ~

Kyrell Giese [2:47 PM]
"You will." And if she didn't she would not be alone. There were many people whom couldn't figure anything out, and there was something that everyone couldn't figure out or couldn't figure out right away. "Your room." He had weaved a spell within it to update it the very moment she arrived. The spell should be completed by now. "It just down that hall. You can make any changes to it that you want." He didn't think her mother being here as well would have crowded her, but well details. She did what she thought was best for her daughter and the fact she was putting Liliah's need before her own said something. More than something. It said a lot.

Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:51 PM]
~ She simply smiled at those words, pushing herself up to her feet to wander towards the door, whilst speaking over her shoulder. ~ I'm sure it's fine. Plus, I don't have much decorating knowledge. ~ Or all that many likes or dislikes, but she didn't need to add that. She didn't add anything else at all other than a quiet 'Night Dad.' Before leaving the room entirely. ~

Kyrell Giese [2:54 PM]
"I am sure you will form your opinion in no time." She will come to have her dislikes and likes. She will have her favorite foods. Those foods she hated. He couldn't wait to see it. He wondered if she would have a sweettooth like her mother "Good night."
