Sloane Lavoie [3:32 PM]
She had agreed to help along with Istvan and Deva and it seemed others that were scattered throughout as one by one they seemed to be appearing at the giant clock. If one could call it that. It was rather strange looking and if one peered in through the hands a city could be seen though it seemed to follow no laws or logic. The other side looked like twisted hands moving in strange patterns as if time had a mind of its own because it did. She had created it when she first went searching into the spaces between for Istvan all those centuries before. Now it served as a gateway to go after the child that had been taken there. For now she waited for everyone to show up so she could do what she had promised and help them move through the land.
Kyrell Giese [3:38 PM]
It was time. The moment that Kyrell had been waiting for. He was going to find his daughter and than shove his foot so far up the one whom took her ass that his ancestors heads were going to spin. He hadn't realized how excited he was for this rescue mission until he found himself standing before that strange clock. Don't get him wrong, he had been eager before. He had wanted to find his daughter the very moment he learned she might be alive. It was just now he felt as if he just had to open the door and she would be there. He knew that wasn't the case. Things would not be that easy. His eyes flicker towards Sloane before looking around---waiting for the others to appear.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [3:43 PM]
The last place Istvan wanted to go was the between. The memories of his time there was still fresh in his mind. Sadly, he had a feeling that they were always be, but what you wanted didn't always align with what you needed. He stood next to Sloane---close enough to touch--staring straight ahead. It would only be a few moments before the others appear and they would be on there way. He took this time to prepare himself for what awaited them on the other side. When it came to that place there was no such thing as being too prepared.
Katia Devry [3:46 PM]
-Ky had asked her to tag along and after their chat she understood why. So, the young witch that had grown up with his older sons suddenly appeared. She offered Ky a polite nod before glancing at the clock. That was strange she thought. Her eyes flickered to the others one at a time before she found a spot to sit under a nearby tree waiting to set out.-
Amelie Zagurian [3:52 PM]
~ It was the sound of thunder that heralded her arrival. Or more precise, the flash of lightning that came just before that booming ripple. Fizzling out to reveal the black clad blonde, her hands shoved into the pockets of the red leather jacket that was the only source of colour upon her entire being. Her midnight azure gaze danced to each person already present, some familiar, some not so. Before she gazed over her shoulder as if waiting for something. ~
æ Michael Zagurian æ [3:59 PM]
* It's such a quick moment it's arguable whether he arrived via the strike of lightning or the echoing flash of soothing white-blue light that surrounded him before settling. His right hand gently leaving Amelie's shoulder as he stood just behind his sister. While they certainly had quite the rescue party already, Michael had come along in a show of solidarity to his youngest sibling, especially since she'd have done the same for him. His own blue eyes were icy but kind, a deep scar running from temple to jawline on his left side, the only offset to calm features. With a survey of who was already here, he nodded to Kyrell since that was the only other familiar face, but his attention soon is caught by that rather ominous clock. *
Colden Giese [4:02 PM]
*Colden had been there long before everyone else had arrived. He had made his desire to rescue his sister known the very moment his family made their plans clear. He decided to stalk the clock until this moment arrived and see what might be visible from the other side. He made his appearance known with the arrival of the others--giving each of them a brief acknowledgement, everyone expect Michael that was. He regarded Michael a little longer. He was the only one whom he never encountered than his eyes turned towards that clock*
Everleigh Paxton [4:19 PM]
Ever like Cole had already been there but she had been checking and rechecking pieces of the spell she had craved around the clock. She had spent a lot of time on it and she hoped it would cut the risk of going in down giving them a link to the outside world. Sure she could not plan for everything but she could draw more power and plan for a lot. When it was clear everyone was here she moved towards the others nodding at each in turn. "Okay, for those that don't know I will tell you a bit about this trip."
"Witches call where we are going the spaces between. Think of it this way if you have a dreamworld and awake world there is a gap and that is a space between. People get stuck in these spaces and get lost. After time they become bitter and lose themselves and the whispers I guess of those that were lost and want them to be lost to pull them in. It is a world created by the will of beings that want you to be consumed by it." It was hard to explain but she was doing her best. She hoped they got some sense of it.
"Sloane." She said pointing to the red head in the red jacket. "And Istvan." She said pointing to the man dark blonde hair. "Have been there and are going to help us find our way around. Katia is a dreamweaver so if anyone begins to feel consumed we can put you to sleep and push you into the dream realm. It is a better option than losing yourself. The other blonde is my brother Colden. And that is Amelie and her brother Michael. I think everyone knows me and Kyrell."
"Anyways over time a Lord emerged of this place who was able to effect the outside world as well as the spaces taking worlds into his domain and torturing people to gain power. Amelie's enemies took her daughter and sold her to him. So we are going to get her back. we just have to step through that clock." She said as she put her hand on it everything glowing green as her magic flowed through it continuing down through her symbols.
Sloane Lavoie [4:23 PM]
She listened to Ever talk much she knew because she had been there before but it was nice to talk about it for others. She took note of the names she was given as she waited for Ever to start the spell. As it started she waited for it to finish as she looked at the clock and stepped inside waiting for the others because she had done this a thousand times so no need for her to hesitate.
Kyrell Giese [4:30 PM]
Why Michael or anyone else decided to help them this day didn't matter. The important thing was they were here. Through, he liked to think they all were here for the same reason---family, whether it was by blood or another design. Family first was the Giese way, after all. He nodded towards Michael before moving towards the clock as Ever spoke. He did not care if he was consumed. He would gladly pay that price if it means rescuing his daughter. Without hesitation, he stepped through the clock and into whatever waits on the other side.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [4:34 PM]
Istvan gave the slightest nod to those he did not know. Ever explained the between well enough he thought, but if she haven't they would come to understand just what it was during their time there. "Keep your wits about you. Your mind is your strongest asset yet your weakest point." Perhaps, these words did not need to be said. They might have figured it out just from Ever's explanation alone. Closing his eyes, he took one deep breath before stepping through.
æ Michael Zagurian æ [4:39 PM]
Hm, well at least we know what we're up against * mutters to his sister with a wry sense of humor, bumping his shoulder against hers lightly. What was described wasn't an ideal place to get lost in, but the risk for family was worth it. And it wasn't the _worst_ thing he'd faced that was relatively unknown to him. As people started moving through, he waited for Amelie's lead on when they went through the clock. *
Katia Devry [4:42 PM]
-She nodded her head as she stepped through. She had said she would help no matter what the risk and she had meant it. Here we go she thought as she stepped through.-
Amelie Zagurian [4:48 PM]
~ She snorted softly at her brothers words. ~ I did tell you it would be dangerous. ~ The words came out flippantly, like the usual banter the pair seemed to display during tense, sometimes deadly situations. She squinted at the clock, dropping her hands from her pockets to check the multitude of places she'd stashed a weapon on her person. Once she was sure they were all there. She ducked though. ~
Colden Giese [4:51 PM]
*He kept his eyes straight ahead as his sister spoke and even before the portal was completed he was ready to step through. He just waited until everyone else did before he did*
æ Michael Zagurian æ [4:55 PM]
* There's a teasing scoff after Amelie's words, muttering something like "when is it not dangerous?" because witty repertoire was the best way to cope before dropping into something possibly deadly. Moves after his sister like a shadow through the strange clock portal. *
Everleigh Paxton [5:02 PM]
Ever always liked to put it all out there. She glanced at Ames as she fought the urge to ask how many weapons she had on her instead she simply stepped through into the other side or more like fell to an inbetween space. Pulling out a small green crystal she held it up looking through it checking for the strings that connected Amelie her father and Liliah to lead her in a direction before turning towards Amelie. "Do you get any feel for her direction?" She asked to double check her own readings things could be strange here.
Sloane Lavoie [5:11 PM]
It seemed that they had landed on the outskirts of one of the many worlds that were created here. Fragments of fractured minds creating their own realities in which to engage their madness, Bits of swirling debris hung in the air suspended as if by noting but its own will. Flicks of sparks would dance suddenly before dying out but all in all it seemed abandoned unless you counted the whispers that would suddenly dance into your ear trying to cast a shadow of doubt before fading away like an echo of your own consciousness.
Kyrell Giese [5:17 PM]
"What's the fun of a rescue mission if you don't have to carve your way through the bowels of hell" He wasn't certain what hell was like where Michael or Amelie came from, but for his people the between was pretty much it. He did know it was different from the hell of earth, well the earth that Adelaide and Ciara came from. He never been there personally, but he knew it was. He turned his eyes towards Amelie, waiting to see what her response to Everleigh's words. He did his best to ignore the inane whisper within his own mind. Yet, there was denying they were there. Pressing upon his mind, trying to wiggle inside until they took hold.
æ Michael Zagurian æ [5:22 PM]
* With the whispers floating about, he suddenly felt like having a contradictory voice inside his head for most of his life was suddenly going to pay off. Moreso than that, he wasn't a stranger to doubt and temptations trying to gnaw at his better judgment. Taking a quiet, steadying breath for himself, he glanced down at his sister when a question was thrown her way. *
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:24 PM]
The only response Istvan gave to the friendly bickering between Amelie and her brother as well as Kyrell words was the slightest smile. Other than that seemed not to be paying attention to anything ahead. He was taking his own advice and keeping his wits about him. He didn't know if his countless eons here gave him a stronger defense against anything that might be thrown against him or made him more susceptible to it. Truth be told, it did not matter. He turned towards the others as those whispers started to dance inside his ears. Whispers he had no doubt that the others were hearing. They would have to find the strength to overcome it.
Katia Devry [5:26 PM]
-She frowned at the whispers as she shook her head. It would figure. Dark, scary place. Check. Voices in your head. Check. Going to be one of those days. Check. She shook the thought off following after the others.-
Amelie Zagurian [5:35 PM]
~ If Ever had asked the question on the number of her weapons, the answer would have been something along the lines of 'far more than you'd think.' Much like her brother's words had earned a playful snort, Kyrell's gained a roll of her eyes and a soft chuckle. Thankfully though she resisted any of the more childish urges. The whispers were met with a soft growl, hissing through gritted teeth as she focused on ignoring them. The mental barriers surrounding her mind didn't hurt this endeavour either. The question put towards her had her cocking her head to one side and reaching into herself for that sense of like calling to like. ~ Faintly perhaps. My sense of direction is a little skewed here. I want to say...that way. ~ She lifted her hand and pointed in the direction she thought the tugging feeling was coming from. ~
Colden Giese [5:46 PM]
*He imagined that Amelie was that one person in shows whom managed to pull fifty knives out of her right boot alone. It probably wasn't that many but the image alone seemed to keep the whisper away from him for a few moments. When they finally showed their ugly faces he couldn't help thinking of course. How many people fell to these whispers? Shaking his head, it didn't matter. He couldn't concern himself with the ones that came before. Yet the concern was there. He pressed against him. Not just the lost of those here, but all those whom he had failed to save. Adelaide. He could almost see her standing before him--so alive than... shaking his head he pressed the thought away from him. That was in the past. There was nothing to be done to change it. Just as there was nothing to do to save those whom had fallen prey to this place. They were gone. Yes it was sad. His heart bleed for them and it might always will.* "Stupid flies" *He mumbled, moving closer to his sister and waiting to see which direct Amelie suggested they went*
Everleigh Paxton [5:58 PM]
She glanced in the direction pointed. It looked good to her. Besides, it felt right as well. If not for the fact it almost seemed like the center and the strange kind of cloud like tower that was there. Seemed like a good place for a bad guy. Besides she knew that energy from when she was a kid. Taking a deep breath she moved across the uneven ground everything about this place was like walking on some sort of sticky cloud. It was hard yet you felt like you might just sink through at any freaking minute. She keep an eye on Istvan and Sloane trusting that they would speak up if she got off track. However, as she reached the base of the strange tower it seemed the path spread out turning back suddenly everyone was gone. It would be this way for all one second so close the next alone and the next complete darkness.
Within a few seconds that might seem like forever that darkness would fade to show another version of themselves for Ever a young girl alone in her room. Te girl under went awful experiments everyday thinking no one cared. It was the worst time in her life. It would be different for each. For some a time of great fear, for others of great regret. but something that weighs on them. And they are put back in that place to face it.
Sloane Lavoie [6:02 PM]
Moving forward as a good thing and when they seemed to make progress she fought it was to easy. She should have known better. She sighed when the lights went out and everyone vanished. Now which creature had caused this? She thought just as she was suddenly not the future her anymore but a younger her. No longer remembering anything that had happened she was the girl who had slammed the gate condemning some of her people to death to save others. Reliving that scene over and over again though unaware each time the first in her mind the pain new with each reliving.
Kyrell Giese [6:14 PM]
If Ever had spoken that thought aloud he would have agreed with her. Besides, something told him that even if they didn't start the right way they might still end up getting where they needed. Things were not always as it appeared. Left was not always left. Straight was not always straight. Up was down and down was right. It was probably how one got lost within this place. He begun to move once they had a direction to go. He turned to speak to others but whatever words he was going to say was forgotten when he found himself engulfed by that darkness, and when it was gone he found himself a child of seven whom found himself surrounded by all those whom he had felt he failed within the past. They all took the form and the age of the very moment he felt as failed htem the most. They turned towards him. Their eyes filled with nothing but hated and contempt for him than they started to speak on how worthless he was. How he failed them. How he was useless and would never amount to anything. He only brought destruction.
æ Michael Zagurian æ [6:21 PM]
* Tension wound through his shoulders as the lights went out and he was suddenly alone. LED lights pulled out of their compartments on the chrome prosthetic that was his left arm, trying to give light to the darkness only to find a younger version of himself. Very young. Before the scars and abuse, a boy no more than five or six with blood on his hands and staining patches of his clothing. Knees curled into his chest as he sobbed in confusion next to the half-shadowed form of a woman that certainly wasn't alive. Michael had spent many years working through his demons, this wasn't even the first time he'd been faced with a ghostly vision of his cruel past. But this...was difficult simply because of how young he had been. Working to find that inner clarity and calm, he stared at the child he had been and whispered on a shaky breath. * It isn't real...
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [6:22 PM]
Kyrell was right in his assumption that direction was all askew here. The only thing one could do was trust their instincts. When his own darkness swept away to reveal his own nightmare. He was standing in a room. There was a young woman inside a cage, and he knew right away whom she was. The daughter of Kyrell and Amelie. She didn't take any real appearance. Just a mixing of Kyrell and Amelie that just every so often. Too Quick for any to really imprint upon his mind. It didn't matter because within a few moments the others came rushing into the room. Their eyes filled with determination to save her and he found himself laughing at this. He found them weak and pathetic and he was going to enjoy crushing their dreams. He was the between. It was what he did. He destroyed and consumed until there was nothing left.
Katia Devry [6:25 PM]
-She frowned she hated when stuff like that happened. When she found herself alone in the dark all alone as she blinked something coming into focus. It was a crib. She moved towards it. The child she had lost with Alex. Suddenly he was there blaming her saying it was because she didn't love him. She wanted to crawl into a hole. Claiming she somehow willed it to happen so they would not have to marry and she could remain on Earth as if she would do that.-
Amelie Zagurian [6:35 PM]
~ She'd moved off in the direction to which she'd pointed before she'd even been done lowering her arm. It was as easy as that? Really? No. No of course it wasn't, nothing ever was. Instinct told her it wasn't going to be as easy as picking a direction and walking in it. If it were that easy she'd have been able to do it by herself. It would seem her instincts would once again be proved right as darkness swept around her. She frowned in confusion, spinning in a complete circle before she registered the fact she was completely alone. There was nothing to fear in the dark. Darkness had always been her solace, her safe place. For reasons she'd never known until right at the end of her last life, which was why it took her so long to register the visions. Was this a fear? It was hard to say, but she'd suspect it was more of a regret. She had so many of those. Hell it was why she was here in the first place. Because she hadn't saved Lili. The shade of her past self seemed to mock her, you failed the first time, it seemed to say. What's to stop you failing this time too? She shook her head and gritted her teeth. ~ No. Not listening to you. ~ Because mumbling to herself was totally the way out of this. ~
Colden Giese [6:59 PM]
*The darkness dispersed to reveal Colden standing before Adelaide. He knew what day he was. He could never forget this day. It constantly played in his mind---the day that she died. He couldn't help noting how beautiful she was. There was a slight breeze causing her long hair to fly into her face. He reached a hand out to brush that hair out and the very moment his finger glazed against her skin ever so lightly she was falling lifeless to the ground. No No No. He screamed. The thought inside his mind more than anything. He rushed to catch her. Please. Please. As soon as he caught her she was gone...nothing more than dust within his hand, In fact, everything seemed to be turning into dust whenever he touched it. Than everything was reset. He found himself standing before Adelaide the day she died once again, reaching a hand out to brush her hair out of her eyes. No stop it. Don't touch her. He screamed at himself, but his words appeared to be nothing more than dust in the wind*
Everleigh Paxton [7:08 PM]
The little girl didn't know what to think. She wasn't suppose to be here something was wrong but she couldn't wrap her mind around it. She knew this pain it had been her life for a very long time. Something had happened...no it had always been such. She felt at war with herself. Wait. Ky had come. She was no longer that girl! She had over come it all. She kicked her feet hitting something hard as the illusion seemed to give way and her adult self realized she was trapped in a dark space alone. Something surrounding her. She frowned at the sticky webs like stuff clinging to her as she focused afraid of her a blast of magic forming a hole as she crawled out of the cocoon like structure. Great. She thought taking a look around at the thousands of tiny spiders crawling everywhere as she kicked a few off her foot.
The sticky stuff must have been webbing and judging from the little whispers the voices were them so small they hadn't noticed. More sealed people around the room some being eaten as the little spiders nibbled on them in their dream like state lost in their own nightmares. Various degrees of eaten. Okay. Time to find the others.
Sloane Lavoie [7:11 PM]
She frowned at the scene in front of her. If she was not her father's daughter she might have gotten lost in it. But she managed to remind herself that these events had long past as she burst out of her prison a rather wild look on her face. "Yuck." She said glancing at the spiders stomping on them rather pissed they had tried to eat her her eyes turning towards Ever as she tried to see where the others were at.
æ Michael Zagurian æ [7:37 PM]
* _It isn't real._ Though the pain of his first true terrible experience would be easy to get lost in, Michael steels himself as he runs his thumb on the underside of his ring finger, feeling the wedding band there. It almost felt as easy as that, to remember what he had overcome and what he had gained in life since that terrible loss. His thoughts of resurfacing may have started with his wife, but they quickly diverted to his sister and that he was here to help her. As the vision gave way to a different sort of darkness, the lights on his arm let him see clearly what he was in. And that there were spiders; fun. More metallic panels shifted until a sharp blade slid out and let him cut through the webbing holding him, staggering out and batting away spiders with a grunt. When he saw a few others had already broken free, he felt relief, but he was quickly moving, icy blues scowering for Amelie. *
Kyrell Giese [7:40 PM]
His loved ones did not always speak towards him. Sometimes they were utterly silent with their backs turned towards him. He reached out towards them, but each time he came close they would move away. He called out to them, believing that would get them to stay but it was not to be. They didn't seem to hear him. He ddn't know why, but this somehow felt worse. He rather have them telling him what a monster he was than acting like he didn't exist. "Fuck you." Kyrell screamed, much in the same manner he had his entire life whenever he was faced with this demon. He had been dealing with this feeling his entire life. Feeling of worthlessness. Feeling of being invisible or ignored. Feelings of being hated or thought as monster. He had not fallen to the weight of it before. He carried it. Sure sometimes he thought it was going to consume him. There were days he swore he was going to be lost to it, but he never was. He was too strong for that. "Fuck you" He repeated, but this time it was not filled with the rage the previous one had been. "I am Kyrell fucking Giese you shit for brains. I am worthwhile. People love me and they will continue to love me even if I make mistakes. That what it means to be a family" These words were said to those whom had put him into this place as much to himself. No, they were said more to himself. He was than awake sitting in a cocoon of webbing. He kicked his way out and than he begun to stomp upon every little spider he saw. "Mother fucking shits die" Hell he was tearing a few pods open to slaughter the spiders inside---even through those inside were too far gone to save
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [7:44 PM]
This is not real, Istvan told himself. He knew what this was. He had been here before, but his nightmare had been different back than. It had involved his brother, but that detail did not matter. What mattered was knowing something wasn't real was most of the battle as soon as he realized that the nightmare dissolved. He pulled himself out of his own cocoon and begun to dust himself off. His eyes flickered towards those whom had managed to pull themselves out and waiting for those whom still remained within the spiders grasp to do the same.
Katia Devry [7:49 PM]
-Was this real? She had this dream enough that she frowned at it. Trying to figure it out. She had been awake when they had come here. No she had settled this. She knocked the crib over. This was the past her present was different. She turned and kicked the stupid spider trap casting off webbing as she went blinking at Ky as he stomped on spiders.- Just freaking lovely. -She thought looking around.
Amelie Zagurian [7:54 PM]
~ Ignoring the vision, the shade that was her past self didn't make it shut up. It kept poking at her, trying to make her give in to doubt. To give in to her own insecurities. Alright. If pretending it wasn't there wasn't going to help her, she'd treat it as if it were an enemy she had to kill. Palming her switchblade, she lashed out at the spectre of her past. Only for it to disappear as she did and the blade to cut clean through the webbing encasing her. She tumbled into view, poised on the balls of her feet in a crouch. Only to push up to a stand and flick a tiny coil of lightning at a nearby spider. ~ Fucking bugs... (edited)
Colden Giese [7:58 PM]
*This was not how it happened. This thought appeared within his mind like a spark of ember within a newly lit fire. It was enough to wake him from the nightmare. He pushed his way out of the webbing, turning his attention towards his sister.* "I don't think these spiders are your friend." (edited)
æ Michael Zagurian æ [7:59 PM]
This place didn't waste any time in getting creepy, did it? * says with a wry chuckle to Amelie as he joins her side once more, the blade along his metallic arm retracting. While he instantly reacted with humor, he's quietly checking her over for wounds and watching her expression as if to make sure whatever she'd seen in her nightmare visions hadn't shaken her too badly. *
Everleigh Paxton [8:09 PM]
Ever looked at Cole and blinked. "Really? And I was going to ask to take them home." Her eyes flashing towards her father. "Don't kill Molly and Todd." She told him as she looked around noting that everyone seemed to have made it out alright. As the spiders seemed to be staying in the shadows. It seemed they weren't tp fond of the light. Light? As if things weren't creepy enough a strange light seemed to be coming from down the hall as well as a happy giggly voice that said. "Oh goody you are just in time for dinner."
Ever paused she knew that voice as she followed the sound without waiting to see if anyone was coming. It was fucked up tea party time. In the center of the room away from the rest a man sat on a chair with a girl the platform seemed to float there above it all. It was not the Lord though she could feel him everywhere. However, whoever this man was the girl was Liliah she knew that much. Below them were rabbits with flowers on their heads and kids. Long tables of treats being eaten by the kids. If one looked close enough they would see the treats were an illusion. It was rotten food, maggots, dirt, garbage, and the like.
The kids ate them and after awhile the rabbits would suck them up through straws as they turned into goo. Some of the kids Ever and Cole knew from a world they tried to save so long ago. Some lost forever now. Some could still be saved, She looked at her brother and said one word. "Steves."
Sloane Lavoie [8:11 PM]
She watched the spiders as they seemed to crawl off into the shadows when something caught Ever's attention. She had only one choice to follow after her. Coming upon the scene in front of her she blinked. Were those bunnies? What in the name of the Goddess were they doing? She hadn't seen anything like it? Her eyes moved towards the center. Was that the goal? But before she could ask Ever spoke. "Who the heck is Steve?"
Kyrell Giese [8:16 PM]
Kyrell paused in his stomping to glance at his daughter. "Which one is Molly and Todd?" He didn't wait for her answer before stomping on one spider. "Die Molly" Than another "Die Todd" However, it seemed they were off. He eyed the remaining spiders with an look that seemed to say I will be back before rushing after his daughter. The scent of the rotten garbage hit him before the sight of it. How could they not smell it? It was revolting. He turned his eyes towards his children. "Friends of yours?"
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [8:21 PM]
He smiled upon hearing Michael's words. "It tries to make you feel welcome a soon as possible." The only hint that this might have been a joke was that smile of his growing just a tad large than he was off moving after the others into that banquet room. "Him?" He pointed towards the man sitting on a chair upon that platform. Wait, it had been Steves not Steve. He suppose Steves could be a name.
Katia Devry [8:28 PM]
-She thought if it wasn't one thing it was another with this place. But hey at least no one had lost their minds. Yet. She thought as she darted after Ever. Was she calling the bunnies Steve. How could they all be Steve? Maybe the guy in the chair? She looked up.- Why does everything here want to eat us?
Amelie Zagurian [8:38 PM]
Creepy is an understatement dear brother. ~ She quipped with wry humour lacing her tone, she didn't appear to be shaken or under any kind of strain. Be that because her snark was deflecting attention from it or because she'd hidden it behind her mask of indifference. Or maybe, as hard as it was to believe. She'd actually shaken off her crippling sense of self doubt where it came to protecting those she loved. Doubtful but she could dream. She chuckled softly at Istvan's words. ~ You're telling me. ~ Her eyes darted to Kyrell as he played squish spider with the evil arachnids. Then she was darting after Ever and co, gripping the switchblade in hand as if she anticipated a fight to come. Skidding to a stop at the strange scene before her, gagging slightly at the smell. ~ The hell is a Steve? ~ She mumbled this before becoming aware of a ripple of awareness, that feeling of like calling to like. It made her eyes dart to the girl seated next to the unfamiliar male. Not wanting to risk speaking her thoughts aloud, she nudged both Kyrell and Michael whom were likely the two she'd stopped between and nodded towards the girl in the universal sign for: 'Over there.' ~ (edited)
æ Michael Zagurian æ [8:42 PM]
* As soon as Amelie moves after the others, he follows quietly and lets his quipping nature set to the side. Though Istvan's response had stolen a grin from Michael for a few moments. The scene that played out in front of them was certainly on the unsettling side, a pang in his chest at the sight of so many children, most that looked beyond saving. But his sister's nudge draws his attention, glancing down at her and then up to the specific girl she'd gestured toward. His mouth set in a grim line of determination as he briefly inclined his head back to Amelie to show he understood, tensing in wait for the precise moment to help retrieve his niece. *
Colden Giese [8:44 PM]
"I'm sorry to disappoint you." *Colden told his sister in that teasing yet truly sympathetic manner that only a sibling could muster. They were than off. He didn't even think about moving after his sister. She moved and he was right behind her. This felt like the adventure they had been on when they were children and as wrong as this might sound he felt giddy. That excitement vanished just as they slide into the room and took note of the scene before him. His eyes moved towards his sister and the exact same moment she said Steves so did he.* "Steal the flower from their heads. It's how you kill them." *He moved to do just that. They might not be able to save them all but one was better than none right?* (edited)
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [8:51 PM]
~ There she sat, beside the man they were all staring at, or at least some of them were staring at him. It was him they were looking at right? She blinked, her eyes catching the darker blues of the blonde woman whom looked to only be a few years older than she appeared. When they did catch that same awareness that gripped Amelie suddenly gripped the girl. Her paler blues shot wide in a look of surprise and confusion before they moved to look at the male's stood either side of the woman. And then at the rest. Most of them gave her a similar jolt of awareness, though the strengths varied. ~ (edited)
Everleigh Paxton [9:03 PM]
"It is because most everything here is bitter and hateful." She said about it being creepy and wanting to eat them. She glanced at her father when he asked if they were her friends. "Why you want to stomp on them too? Cause that won't kill a Steve. Steve are the rabbits. the magically slop they feed people turn them to mush they can suck up. And the only way to kill them is by plucking the flowers off their heads." She looked up towards the man and her sister. She also felt another in the shadows and she knew him. She expected him to com forward and snatch victory just when they thought they had won just like he had with Cole and her all those years ago.
"Why don't daddy, Amelie, and Michael find a way to get Liliah down and kick the crap out of her captive while Cole and I try to save as many kids as we can along with Kat. And Sloane and Istvan can keep an eye out for Mister shadow man because they are most likely to sense him." She said looking around moving towards one of the Steves.
It started to laugh. "As if it is that Easy. We have learned." It told her. "we will let none pass." And suddenly many Steves joined together into a giant ball merging together into one big Steve, "Ha no try to pick our flower!" It said as it opened its mouth tiny balls of fur spitting out as flying Steves flew at them.
Sloane Lavoie [9:07 PM]
She didn't know who the floating girl was but it must be the target from how they were acting. It also seemed Steve was the bunny things. It seemed easy enough pull the flower. And she did feel that force pressing in the shadows watching as if waiting to see what they would do. Feeding on the pain around it. "Alright." She said to Ever's plan reaching into her power that connected her to her father when she heard the bunny speak and become a bigger bunny? Spitting smaller bunnies? What the heck? She thought as she dodged a bunny just to be slammed in the face by another that tried to claw at her face before pulling off its flower.
Kyrell Giese [9:14 PM]
"Only if they deserve it. I can stomp the flowers off their head." He moved forward as if he was going to do just that, but than he noticed where Amelie was gesturing. Liliah. Everything else was forgotten the moment he saw his daughter. The only thought within his mind was now getting to her. He begun to move towards her even before Everleigh spoke her plan aloud only to be stopped by a giant Steve standing before them. "What are we the villain from some lame kids show?" Okay so they needed to pluck its flower from its head. Easy enough. The others could handle it. He darted forward with the goal to reach Liliah calling each step he took.'
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [9:17 PM]
They had come here to save someone. So, the floating girl being this person made sense. He gave a slight nod to Ever's words before looking around for the master pulling all the strings. It was easier said than done---especially with the Steves flying at him. He snatch the flower off one that came flying past him. It had meant to hit him right in the face but the giant ones aim was off
Katia Devry [9:24 PM]
Ouch. -She said as she was hit in the head with a flying bunny. It was a good thing this didn't happen everyday. The kids for their part just stayed where they were under some sort of trance.- I think I can break that. Or drag them into the dreamscape and wake them later. -She said as she made her way towards them weaving past flying bunnies and pulling flowers off those that got in her way as she went.-
Amelie Zagurian [9:31 PM]
~ She dipped her head in acknowledgement of Ever's plan, like hell she wouldn't have moved straight towards her daughter in the first place. She'd started forward a step when the bunnies morphed into super bunny. She blinked for a second, ducking under a flying 'Steve' only to pop back up and with a glance to her brother to make sure he was following, started weaving around the bunny projectiles in order to get out of the larger ones range. At which point she'd rely on her speed to dart forward towards that floating platform. ~
æ Michael Zagurian æ [9:40 PM]
* Well, flying projectile bunnies were certainly a stranger things he'd come across. He was growing to believe this was some twisted Alice in Wonderland scenario. But he was quick to twist to avoid taking a rabbit to the chest, weaving after Amelie and Kyrell swiftly. His lean build wasn't just for show, after all. A soft whirring come from his metallic arm as it took the form of a guarding shield to hold at bay anything that thought to stop him in the joined pursuit of Liliah. *
Colden Giese [9:50 PM]
"Oh you Steves never learn." *Colden sounded like he was speaking to his arch nemesis that he had encounter many times over and not just once during a misadventure he had with his sister. His eyes narrowed removing the gloves covering his hands.* "I've gotten very good at plucking flowers" *The slightest touch caused the flower upon a Steves whom happened to get close to him to shiver up and die than his attention went to the giant flower*
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [9:55 PM]
~ She still wasn't quite sure what was going on, eyes flickering back and forth between all the commotion going on. What with bunnies becoming a giant bunny and shooting mini bunnies at the people who seemed to know her. She wasn't imagining that was she? She'd often imagined people coming for her. Who wouldn't growing up in a place like this? She was half convinced it was an illusion designed by the weirdness of her perpetual hell, probably would have continued believing so if it weren't for that feeling that she knew these people. ~
Everleigh Paxton [10:04 PM]
The flying bunnies seemed to be enjoying themselves as they flew at people trying to grab a hold of them and claw at them. It really was kind of funny when you thought about it. She glanced at the group going towards her sister nodding as they made head way her eyes glancing up towards the platform a huge hole underneath it. Nothing but blackness it looked like they would have to fly or something. She reached out with that connection she had created with her sister when she was a baby the one that had let Liliah call out to her to begin with and whisper. 'Don't worry. They are coming.' Before turning back to the giant Steve.
Looking at Cole. She offered a grin. "Rope climbing time." She said whispering in his ear. "I can shot an arrow to that ledge close to its head with a rope attached you climb up touch the flower. Boom! Dead Steve!" Of course they could do it a lot of easier ways but where was the fun it that?
Sloane Lavoie [10:06 PM]
She continued to dodge Steves as she moved closer to Istvan watching the others as they moved around. Hearing Ever's plan she just raised an eyebrow. wasn't there like thousands of easier ways to do it?
Kyrell Giese [10:12 PM]
No, she was not imagining it and how he wished he could tell her that. But, for the moment the only thing he could do was move forward. His little girl will be safe and sound soon enough. Through, she was not really little any more. He looked at her. She had grown to be quite a lovely young woman. He didn't know how her time spent here had affected her. He wasn't going to worry about that. They would deal with it later. He leapt into the air as if to leap upon the very platform and the very moment he did it was gone. "Mother fucking cock waggling piss for brains" He roared, eyes darting around for his daughter. She had to be here somewhere.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [10:16 PM]
"He's here." He whispered to Sloane. He was only watching and waiting for what Istvan didn't know, but there was no denying his presence. He circled around the room, slowly attempting to study every nuke and cranny that someone might be able to hide themselves within. His eyes darted towards Kyrell upon hearing him cuss up a storm. Of course. It wouldn't be as easy as they hoped. The man behind the scene would make sure of that. This was his world. He made the rules.
Katia Devry [10:18 PM]
-It appeared that the darkness wanted to play too. She heard Ky curse as she frowned. She moved putting one child after another asleep and pushing them into the dreamscape to get later. She wasn't sure how many she would get before someone stopped her but she would do as many as she could.-
Amelie Zagurian [10:24 PM]
~ She'd successfully made it past the giant bunny, slowing to a more normal pace so she could assess the situation before them and figure out how to gain access to the platform. Around the same time that Kyrell began cursing. At first, she's suppressing the urge to chuckle at his colourful language. Until she realises the platform is gone. At that point, she growls. The air around her almost super charged with electrical energy, lightning even crackling off her skin. Midnight blues narrowing in a look of frustration, before she blinked and checked herself. In a tone sounding almost bored she huffed. ~ Really? We're playing childish games now?
æ Michael Zagurian æ [10:30 PM]
* Streams of cursing were never a good sign. As he slowed to a stop beside Amelie and realized what the others had garnered, he did a one-eighty as if to try and pinpoint where Liliah might reappear. Keeping a level head as usual, he spoke over his shoulder to Amelie, but also anyone that might be able to do the same of what he was suggesting * Focus on your connection to her, she's not lost to us yet. We just have to keep a lock on her.
Colden Giese [10:35 PM]
*Sure there were easier methods to get to the top of the Steve's head. They could use magic to just appear at the top, or to climb the side of the steve's like it was nothing more than a flat surface. Ever could shot the flower with her arrow among a thousand other things but what would the fun of that be? He nodded his head at his sister.* "Let's do it." *He watched for her to shot that arrow before scurrying up it*
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [10:38 PM]
~ The whispered words within her mind were both familiar and unexpected, she recognised that voice. Her eyes dart towards Everleigh for a moment, a brief smile touching her lips. Though it lasted only a second before she's letting out a soft squeak of protest. Vanishing alongside the platform she was upon, though whether she'd truly vanished or it had just been made to look that way...who knew? ~
Everleigh Paxton [10:42 PM]
Oh so annoying bad guys. She thought. It would seem it was gone and Liliah was too. But it was alright because just when she shot her arrow for Cole she would pop up growing out of Steve's head. The platform now the top of the flower. "Oh good. Cole can pick her." She said as she waited for him to reach the top wondering where the guard had gone just in time to see a giant ax go swinging at Ky's head. There he is! Why is he way down there? "Hey dummy! Your prisoner is on the flower."
Sloane Lavoie [10:45 PM]
Sloane watched the darkness as it seemed to be taking shape. She heard them seem to find the girl again and even Even yell at the guard. The shadows seemed to be pushing in as they crawled towards them. She glanced towards Istvan. "Why do I have a feeling we can't let those touch us."
Kyrell Giese [10:52 PM]
Once he got that string of cursing out, he return his focus to finding his daughter. His eyes darted around the area, trying to see if she had appeared anywhere else when she...appeared as the flower growing out of the giant Steve's head. "Well, that's perfectly normal" He muttered and for this world it was. He honestly wouldn't be surprised at whatever this world flung at him. He didn't have time to think about it because well out of the corner of his eyes he noticed an axe swing at him. He leapt out of the way. The guard did not seem to hear Everleigh. It appeared focus solely upon Kyrell. He said it because while from a distance it appeared male, but close up it looked to be nothing more than a straw doll filled with a bunch of tiny steves as small as those little spiders which had entrapped them when first entered the between
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [10:55 PM]
"Because we can't." He leapt out of the way of this new shaped darkness as it wondered close to him. "You'll become it if it touches." There was no battle of will. No nothing. He had seen a number of souls fall victim to it during his eons here.
Katia Devry [10:58 PM]
-Big bunnies, little bunnies, medium bunnies, what was up with all the damn bunnies? She shook her head as the shadow like creatures started to move towards her hearing the words of the others she moved the remaining kids forward trying to keep them away from well everything that wanted to kill them.-
Amelie Zagurian [11:05 PM]
~ She gave Michael a brief glance, taking a deep breath to wrestle her magic back under control so she could focus upon that connection, the tug upon her essence. Snapping her eyes open to glance at the top of the giant bunny with the words Ever spoke. She blew out a relieved sigh. At least she knew where Lili was now. Jerking to the side and pulling Michael back with her when that darkness seemed to drift close to them. She'd never had to worry about Darkness before but she was going to take Istvan at his word that this wasn't the type that would view her as friend. Then, boiling with frustration and unable to get to Lili as easily as Cole and Ever could, she whirled around and took her irritation out on the...straw man? Lightning leaping from her fingertips to dance across it's form. Probably frying more than a couple of the Steves. Maybe even badly enough to shrivel up their flowers. ~
æ Michael Zagurian æ [11:09 PM]
* He goes easily when his sister pulls him back, an aura of Gaia light instinctively beginning to form around him as if to ward the darkness away. When it was made clear where Liliah was, he began to shift his weight. They could fly...but it sounded like Everleigh had a plan already set. Instead he flicked his wrist and summoned his Scythe in his flesh hand, swinging in a graceful but deadly arc at the straw man in time with Amelie's lightning. *
Colden Giese [11:14 PM]
*Everleigh already has a plan. Sure, sometimes they ended up destroying entire planets but at least they always got home safe and sound. He blinked at the Liliflower that was now standing before him. Something told him that this was not within the master plan but you know how the saying went: Another's lost was another's gain. He quickly put his gloves back and grabbed his sister.* "Ha. Steves we won."
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [11:17 PM]
~ She popped up upon the flower on the giant bunnies head. Blinking in confused disorientation, shaking her head quickly and seeming to clear the cobwebs from her mind. As Colden reaches out to grab her with a gloved hand, the girl barely hesitates. Reaching out her own hand to grasp his and hopefully let him tug her free. ~
Everleigh Paxton [11:24 PM]
"Yippie." She jumped up and down because he had her. And the giant bunny vanished without the flower she trusted that her brother would keep the two of them from crashing to the floor as she glanced to see the straw man thing fighting with some of the others. The tiny Steves attacking and getting the blunt effect of their flowers being burnt off and other such attacks, It was the darkness that bugged her. The hole was there still in the middle and the creatures seemed to crawl from it. Moving along the walls, the floor, trying to reach for anything they could. The light would give them pause but they would look for new ways shadows cast within anything and they seem to grow in number moment by moment, The laughter from deep within that swirling vortex they poured out of growing. expanding it seemed to take up everything keeping them from moving forward.
Sloane Lavoie [11:27 PM]
She heard the laugh and she knew. The master of the spaces had no intention of letting them go The only way was to go into that void and fight him. But that meant becoming the new lord if you won or losing yourself forever if you lost. either way you would be changed. She was a child of madness. So she could play on this level. She let out a sigh. And stepped towards it preparing to do just that.
Kyrell Giese [11:32 PM]
Kyrell let out a sigh of relief upon seeing that Colden had Liliah safe in hand. Now, it was time to put this strawman of steves down. The lighten bolt that Amelie sent flying towards the strawman did burn a number of their flowers as well as sent others flying out the doll they were control. The same with Michael's attack and whenever Kyrell saw a steve land upon the ground he was upon it, stomping it flower and all with an almost mad glee. That was until he noticed the monsters crawling from the hole that had been created from the missing space where Liliah's platform had been. Okay that wasn't good.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [11:36 PM]
Istvan pulled Sloane back before she could finish taking that step. "No. Make sure they get home." He didn't need to tell her whom he was talking about he knew, and before she could protest he begun running towards that hole with a singular purpose in mind. It didn't matter if he defeated the master of the spaces between. The only important thing was he distracted him long enough for them to escape.
Katia Devry [11:38 PM]
-She watched the monsters climb out of the hole a frown on her face, The next thing she knew Istvan was running in. It seemed he was going to fight the big bad. She moved closer to the others because the shadows were pushing her that way and something was telling her it was about time to go.-
Amelie Zagurian [11:41 PM]
~ Relief seemed to flood her when she noticed Cole had successfully pulled Lili free. But she didn't let herself celebrate too long, that darkness was encroaching and it didn't look like it wanted to say hi and be friends. She frowned when Sloane decided to step closer to it, a frown that deepened with Istvan's actions. Damn it. First rule of rescue parties. Leave nobody behind. ~
æ Michael Zagurian æ [11:47 PM]
* He's moving back with the others, inwardly breathing with relief as Liliah was successfully grabbed. Keeping his scythe in hold just in case, his free hand wrapped around Amelie's bicep as he too watched Istvan go running into the pit. He didn't know why, but he figured it was some sort of martyrdom. * We have to keep moving, Ames * it killed him to say, even though he didn't know the other man, but the tone of his voice was reserved in times of war. The man that valued every life warring with the one that said he protected his family. If they didn't find an exit, all of this effort would be for not. *
Colden Giese [11:53 PM]
*Ever was correct. He called the shadows forth, allowed them to wrap around Liliah and him than appeared next to the others. He turned his eyes towards the hole that had Istvan had leapt into. Michael was right. They had to keep moving. That darkness Istvan had warned them about was appearing at increasingly rate. Something told him that within no time that it would cover the enter room. They needed to get out of here but how. The same way they came?*
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [11:58 PM]
~ Appears beside the others from Colden's shadow trick, her lower lip caught between her teeth as she worried it hard enough to possibly hurt herself. Watching as the man she didn't really feel a famiiarity towards yet at the same time felt almost like a kindred spirit, someone who had suffered this world between worlds just as she had. Go running into that hole. When she speaks it's softly, uncertainly. ~ Thank you for rescuing me but...we can't just leave him. ~ Even though the smart thing was to leave right away. She had no desire to stay here longer. ~
Everleigh Paxton [12:02 AM]
She didn't want to leave him either. Her other self was screaming about it. But she might have to come back for him later. He was tough. He would make it. She sighed looking at the shadows. She couldn't risk them all and the kids. She could almost see the battle of wills going on inside and knew they needed to get out before it ended. She focused on finding a clear path out of the room.
Sloane Lavoie [12:13 AM]
She almost lost it when he told her to get them out. She reached out trying to grab him before he ran in. It was his fear. He had lost his body and wandered that space for eons only to be saved by Keir and Ever. He could finally join the Goddess. He had promised to help. He was suppose to get his peace after all this time. Damn it. He should have let her. Madness and her were no strangers. "We have to move." She said knowing she could not let it go to waste. Her voice even despite the turning emotions. She tried to summon the gate back to the clock. It appeared but on the other side of the room and upside down. It figured. Okay just need to crave a path to it.
It was then that something happened inside the vortex a surge of power that exploded outward. She felt it her shields going up in response as she hoped others were quick to respond. It moved outward sending a force through the room as she looked around the shadows gone. The shock wave having shattered the portal and sent a wave through to those on the other side as she stood there, "Shit." That had been the way home. Her second thought was Istvan he had been in that blast. The vortex was no more. She had no time to mourn. She could no longer feel him. She had to get them home.
Kyrell Giese [12:19 AM]
Kyrell was no stranger to war or battle. He had fought many within his life, and as much as it pained him he knew that you didn't always return home with everyone in tact. The only thing you could do was keep moving so their sacrifice was not in vain. He had gotten to know Istvan the short time they had stayed, and he would mourn him later but now...now they needed to move forward. The way home was there before them. Yes, it was upside down but that was a miner detail than a blast echoed out from the hole that Istvan had rushed into. He didn't look behind. He didn't know what it meant. Had Istvan emerged victorious? Had he been defeated and consumed? The only thing he knew they had to get out of here. The ground beneath their feet begun to sway and crack. He begun to move towards the direction the exit had been. Here was hoping that it was still there.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [12:26 AM]
It was his fear. It had been the one he faced when he had been encased within that cocoon. And he had been looking so forward to joining the Goddess side within the afterlife, but that dream was no more. Whether he won or lost he had severed all connection to Aine. Yet, he did not hesitate. Was that an act of martyrdom? He didn't know. He didn't care. He just knew he couldn't allow Sloane to make that sacrifice. Truth be told, he couldn't allow anyone to make it. More than that he thought his time within this place gave him an edge the other might have. He seemed to be the logical choice. Whatever the reason, he had leapt into that hole without a second thought and he had gone to fight the master than the next thing he knew it was over and he was....exploding? He wasn't sure exactly. He just felt like he was in a million places at once.
Katia Devry [12:32 AM]
-She wanted to argue about leaving him behind but before she could it exploded. They could not go after him now. She sighed. It appeared the shadows were gone but so was the portal as the world seemed to be crumbling. She moved towards where the portal had been because it seemed the best choice as she tried to see if she could access the dreamscape but she had used too much power sending the kids there before and she needed to recharge.-
Amelie Zagurian [12:38 AM]
~ The explosion kind of robbed her of all argument, because much like her daughter the stubbornness that was her natural reaction to situations like this had wanted to argue Michael's point. He was right, of course he was right but she'd still wanted to argue it merely because she didn't like the idea of just accepting a loss. Since she didn't have shielding other than mental ones, the shockwave from the explosion knocks her off her feet. She probably would have landed in an ungainly heap if it weren't for the fact her body seemed to dissolve like air particles at the same moment. Scattered by the impact only to reform on slightly shaky legs. ~ I hate to ask this but...now what?
æ Michael Zagurian æ [12:45 AM]
* Michael lifted the shield of his arm and dug his feet in so he only skidded back from the explosion, though a grimace of sympathetic pain made its way across his features. He cut his gaze to make sure Amelie was okay, then let his shield realign to a normal arm as he took into a run, grabbing Amelie's arm again to lead her along * Now, we follow everyone back to the portal we hope is still there * he says with a broad motion of his scythe of the others already on the move. *
Colden Giese [12:49 AM]
*Even if they had wanted to argue about leaving Istvan behind now they couldn't. The hole he had jumped into was now gone. There was no time to think upon that. The only thing left was move forward and get a way out. Keeping a hold of Liliah's hand--mostly because he was afraid if he let go she would disappear entirely---he moved after his father and Michael*
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [12:53 AM]
~ She winced as the pit exploded, a look of pure sadness gracing her expressive sky blue eyes. She didn't even truly know the man but it didn't seem to matter too much, she still felt sad. Was it empathy? Or was she mourning the chance to actually know him? He'd risked so much to help them help her. She stumbles along numbly after Cole. Hardly noticing how he seems reluctant to let go of her. ~
Everleigh Paxton [12:59 AM]
The world was falling a part as they went crumbling under their very feet. The portal was so close but just as they got there it all broke a part and they began to fall the portal as well. It was a bit broken but she could fix it. It was why she had done all those back up spell. If she could catch it. It wasn't so easy while falling as she reached out a creating a green string and wrapping it around the portal bringing it to her. She turned it on like when they came but since they were falling she kicked it down hard underneath them. "Kay so ummm...won't be the best landing but try to drop through the hole." She said as she moved toward it dropping through falling out the other side and landed as she rolled down the hill by the clock.
Sloane Lavoie [1:01 AM]
She followed along with everyone else when the world fell apart and she found herself falling. Catching sight of ever as she found a way to make the floating portal work she aimed and slide landing on her knees on the other side taking a look around.
Kyrell Giese [1:06 AM]
"I'll see you guys on the other side" Kyrell said before dropping through that hole. He figured that either he would end up back into their world or consumed by the between. Either way, the others would be with him. He landed not far from his daughter in not such a graceful manner. Damn it. What did his cat do keep all the graceful landing for herself?
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [1:11 AM]
While everyone was escaping he was...he didn't know...floating...spreading that wasn't right. He didn't want this. He didn't want to be floating along, drifting and swaying wherever the currant may take him. He begun to draw himself together. Whom knew how long it would take? It didn't matter. He had won and now was the time to seize his prize.
Katia Devry [1:15 AM]
-She dropped through the portal landing through the other side.- I think I am going to go. It looks like you have it all in hand and I want to get those kids out of the dreamscape and crash. -She said with a wave to those who were through trusting the others would make it before vanishing.-
Amelie Zagurian [1:20 AM]
~ She let Michael grab her arm and begin pulling her along, mostly because the sudden ripping into particles and reforming had left her a bit shaky. When the ground dropped out from under them, she instinctively unfurled the flared crimson wings that were a part of her alter ego and angled herself to fly through the hole. It didn't make the landing completely smooth. She rolled and slid across the ground to a halt once through. Shaking out her feathers with a wince to be sure her wings weren't entirely damaged. Letting them disappear once more a moment later. She offered Katia a nod as the woman departed, grateful for what help the redhead witch had been. Then she slumped with a tired, yet satisfied smile, one that was tinged with sadness. A truly bittersweet moment. ~
æ Michael Zagurian æ [1:30 AM]
* He had the same thought as his sister, opening up black wings that's secondary feathers were infused with Gaia light. Agile and narrowly avoiding a bad fall, he torpedoed through the portal and landed in a staggering fashion on the other side. His wings closing and disappearing soon after. When his gaze landed on Liliah, he let out a strained laugh of mixed emotions and reached out to calp his hand on Amelie's shoulder in a silent gesture of support. *
Colden Giese [1:34 AM]
*Liliah might have been able to find her way through the portal on her own. Whom knew it might have even been in the same fashion that her mother and uncle had, but he didn't give her the chance. He wrapped both of his arms around her and jumped right into that portal. He landed on the other side rolling so his sister landed on top. It was only when they were safe within their own world did he release her.*
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [1:39 AM]
~ Her eyes shot wide at the appearance of red wings bursting from the blonde woman's back, wider still when the dark haired male sprouted those black ones. She didn't seem surprised though, it was mostly because they'd been thinking the same thing that had occurred to her. However unfurling her own wings didn't become necessary. Cole took care of the situation by enfolding her within his arms and leaping through. She landed atop him with a soft umph noise, only to push off as soon as he let her go and move back a step. Now that she was free, safe. She asked the one question that had been on her mind since she saw them. ~ Okay...I get the feeling I should know the answer to this but...why do you people feel so familiar?
Everleigh Paxton [1:44 AM]
She wanted to dance but she really did not have the energy. She had spent time creating the spells that had been safe guard than opened the portals in and out. She was feeling kind of zapped and she was now lying on the ground as if she had decided this was a good place to be. "I am Everleigh. Your sister, I was the one you called to in your dreams beause of a connection I created when you were a baby not that long ago in our world but time moves different there. I'll let mom and dad explain it." Okay Amelie was only mom because she had decided but she wasn't getting into that right now.
Sloane Lavoie [1:45 AM]
Sloane watched them talk. She had her own grief to deal with. She had gotten them home. Now she just wanted to be alone. They could take care of explaining things to the girl without a word she stepped into the darkness and was gone.
Kyrell Giese [1:56 AM]
"Thank you" He told both Sloane and Katia than he was upon Liliah. He pulled her close, hold her against him for a few moments before planting kiss after kiss all over her face and head while saying "Ya lyublyu tebya" over and over again. He didn't expect her to understand what those words meant, but perhaps with the kisses alone she might get the gesture. He pulled away from her. "We are family." Those whom remained were family by blood. He turned his eyes towards Everleigh than back towards Liliah. "If you had not been taken from us you would be one if not two." Whom knew. Maybe older. He didn't know. He knew Amelie's people aged jumped, but he had no idea how his witch blood would effect that than he was kissing her all over again repeating the words. "Ya lyublyu tebya"
Amelie Zagurian [2:07 AM]
~ She took a moment to lean into the support offered by her brother, taking it as her brief pause to gather herself. Her gaze drifting to Kyrell as he accosted their poor, probably very confused daughter with affection she might not have been expecting. Her eyebrow raising at the words he was repeating. She knew small amounts of his language and was able to figure out the gist of it thanks to that. She laughed softly. Pushing up to her feet after her moment and wandering closer to the pair. ~ You recognise us even if you aren't quite sure why. More so myself and my brother, your uncle. ~ That wasn't to say she didn't have the same recognition towards her overly affectionate father, or her brother and sister. It was merely to state that the alter egos that resided within those of her bloodline tended to instantly recognise each other. Hell Isys had recognised Michael before she had when she'd first returned from death. It hadn't taken her more than a minute of locking eyes with the girl to figure out that was the pull she'd been following. ~ We're your family.

* When Amelie mentioned him, he offered his niece that soothing, kind smile. Everything about him was calming, even if the glow of light around him had faded. He stepped forward, but stayed back a touch to let her parents take care of the smothering affection. There was tragedy in this, he knew that, but after so long...his sister had her youngest back. A missing piece of his family restored. * And we've missed you very much * his voice is very above a whisper, trying to convey how much she meant to them all without further overwhelming her. *
Colden Giese [2:20 AM]
*Colden gave Liliah the tiniest of smiles. He hoped it conveyed all his feelings. The same feelings that the others were sharing. She had been missed and she was loved* "I am your brother." *He than flopped right on top of Everleigh. Not literally and not all the way. His head was now laying on her stomach watching his father bombard his sister with an endless supply of kisses*
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:29 AM]
~ She offered Everleigh a tiny smile, understanding colouring her gaze, she knew she'd recognised that voice in her head and now it made sense. No sooner had she thought this than she was being seized up in a sudden embrace and peppered with kisses, she squeaked, flailing her arms around in surprise. Only settling when the others identities were revealed. Her gaze fixed on the blonde that she assumed was likely the mother Ever mentioned at the same moment the voice in her head seemed to mutter: "Told you so." In a smug manner that would have made her punch a person if she could. ~ Yeah...okay so you told me. Shut up already. ~ The words were mumbled as if spoken to herself, a reaction her mother and uncle were probably completely familiar with. She leaned against her father. Looking at everyone when she asked. ~ Can we go home now? Catch up somewhere cosier than outside?
Everleigh Paxton [2:32 AM]
She nodded also. She loved Liliah as well. But this moment was for her parents. After all they should come first. She could talk to her later. She looked up as Cole put his head on her and smiled at him petting his head. She was in agreeance with her sister. "Cole take me home?" She told her brother. They could cuddle in a nice warm bed instead. And trusting that he would she closed her eyes knowing she would wake up just where she had asked to go.
Kyrell Giese [2:42 AM]
Kyrell didn't care how his daughter reacted to his endless supplies of kisses. Okay, he didn't want to hurt her or anything. It was she could punch him if she really wanted and he would have been fine right that. He had to make up for lost time, and he wasn't certain if it was the time she been missing to him or how long she thought she had been stuck within that place they saved her form. It dididn't matter. He just knew he had given her a kiss everyday since the moment she had been born until the day he thought she dead while saying those words. It was only when she asked to go home that he stopped. He smiled at those words. "Of course, printsessa" He turned his eyes towards Michael. His gratitude didn't need to be said. He seemed to be a man whom understood the importance of family. Truth be told, Kyrell regarded him as such. His action here and cemented that thought. Strange he was an easy man to please. Might even have to give him a nickname. Regardless. His eyes reflected this gratitude of his than he was gone taking Liliah with him. Trusting the others to follow if they wished.

* He'd never really gotten to know any of the Giese clan well, but all that had ever really mattered was that Amelie was happy to be around them. He met Kyrell's gaze and gave the man a nod that said much. One father to another. Even if Liliah hadn't been his niece, he was the type of person to help if asked. As it was, he stepped forward enough to kiss the back of Amelie's head and mutter * Bring her by some time * before he'd let himself vanish in a small flash of Gaia light, back to his own home and tell his wife the good news. For now, Amelie deserved time with her daughter. *
Amelie Zagurian [2:49 AM]
~ Home sounded like a good idea to her, though she lingered after Kyrell disappeared with Lili for a few moments. Her lips twitching with amusement at the way the girl spoke to herself, like the early days between her and Isys. Before they'd learned to rely solely on telepathic communication within their shared mind. The reason for her lingering became obvious when her eyes flitted to her brother with the kiss to the back of her head. ~ Of course. If you happen to see Alea or Zach before me, let them know to come find me. ~ Then much like her brother, she disappeared, like particles on the wind instead of her flashier methods. She had a daughter to catch up with. ~
Colden Giese [2:50 AM]
*He did not say a single word regarding Everleigh's request. One moment they were there and the next they were not*
Liliah Zagurian-Giese [2:51 AM]
~ Disappeared with her father. The last sound heard from her being a soft contented sigh, the sound of someone realishing freedom. ~
Everleigh Paxton [2:53 AM]
And us gone with Cole.
