She was no closer to finding her brother or at least she didn't think she was any closer. But she had met a few interesting people. Alec whom had gone through the same thing and of course Quin. What had drawn her to him that day she still was not sure. She sighed looking around the bar before taking a drink.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [4:54 PM]
Quin had not expected to find Adya within the bar. Truth be told, he hadn't expected to find anyone he knew within the bar. He had been aware of the possibility, but he did not come here in hope that he would encounter someone he knew. However, it would seem that was exactly what would happen. His eyes fell upon Adya as soon as he entered. He moved to where she was sitting, and sliding into the seat next to her. "Drinking in the middle of the afternoon. Careful people might start talking."
Adya Jessica Dalton [5:00 PM]
She glanced up smiling softly. "Perish the thought." She replied in mock horror as she looked around. "Of course I might talk about them right back." She motioned for him to take a seat and join her if he so desired.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:12 PM]
"I know it is unspeakable." He smirked at her words. "Oh? Will the talking be directly to their faces or behind their backs?"
Adya Jessica Dalton [5:21 PM]
"Depends. You gonna protect me if they come after me." She said with a slight giggle. She honestly didn't expect a yes they hardly knew each other despite how their last encounter had ended. The thought causes the slightest bit of blush to color her cheeks.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:36 PM]
"Only if they have fangs, Otherwise, I think you are capable of protecting yourself." He really wasn't the protecting type. He didn't hunt monster because he had an overwhelm urge to protect and defend. He hunt because he enjoyed the thrill of the fight, but for some strange reason he wanted to protect Adya. It was a feeling he didn't know what to think of. She was a stranger. Sure, they fucked, but he had fucked plenty of other people and never felt the need to keep them safe. He hated the feeling yet at the same time he wanted to do nothing about it.
Adya Jessica Dalton [5:49 PM]
"Well...that is better than nothing. I know who to call when someone tries to bite me." She had no idea of his feelings. If she had known who he really was his desire to protect her would make perfect sense. As would their easiness with each other. The sex part however that would be bad.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [6:05 PM]
"Are you hoping for a hero to come constantly swoop to your rescue?" Of course, she had no idea of his feeling. It wasn't something he announced at the top of his lungs or aloud period. Through, it was true if they had realized whom they were to each other everything would make perfect sense. However, they did not, and the only thing they could do was see how the relationship progress.
Adya Jessica Dalton [6:11 PM]
"I don't know it might be nice. Though I seem to attract sort of anti social guys. Those that umm...kind of just follow their own path and in some cases aren't very fond of most people. Go figure. How about you?"
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [6:18 PM]
"I don't know if you actually believe that. You seem to be attracted the anti-social guys just as much as they are to you. I don't know if I really have a type. Through, there is something about those whom face the world with a kinda courage." Would she understand what he meant? He wasn't even certain he understand it. Yet, he was thinking about the three people he had felt the way he did Adya. Kalia and Alec. The two of them were as different as night and day, and sure Alec betrayed him, but he wasn't the type to turn tail and run when the monster revealed itself. All three of them seemed to possess a certain bravery that served as their shield whenever the horrors of the world came their way.
Adya Jessica Dalton [6:24 PM]
"My friend Heil tells me Iam too good for the world. As if something about me different than the rest of the world. I think maybe that is the appeal. If you catch the eye of that type of person there is something unique at least to them. I think it makes me feel special, Is that silly?" She asked tilting her head. "I made a new friend. He lost a family member same as I did. "
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [6:33 PM]
"You are a breath of fresh air. Most people are.." He paused for a few moments, glancing around the bar before turning towards her. "Shit. If they died the world would go on just the same, but there are those whom if they perished the world would become just that much lesser. There is something about you that makes you one of those people." He raised a brow at her words. "Oh? Whom is this friend? Where did you meet him?"
Adya Jessica Dalton [6:36 PM]
"The world is lesser anytime someone perishes. People miss them and whatever else they might have done is just gone." She knew she was strange. "Yes, Alec was his name."
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [6:42 PM]
"No. Most people die and the world keep turning as if nothing happened. Sure, there are those whom will miss them, but their death has no real impact upon the world. However, there are others whom shine as bright as a star and when they die the world becomes that much dimmer. You look at the world and you can't quite place it, but its not as beautiful." He frowned at her words. "Alec? Alec what?"
Adya Jessica Dalton [7:19 PM]
She wasn't sure she was one of those people and she was also sure all deaths made the world dimmer but that was besides the point. "Alec...I believe it was Sancora. He just ran into me. I thought he was stalking me. Isn't that silly."
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [7:47 PM]
The name Alec raised all sort of alarm bells within his head, but he was glad he asked for his last name before overreacting. He let out a sigh of relief upon hearing it. “He might have been for all you know” (I decided to give him a different last because I think he didn’t give her his real name because he thought Quin would convince her to stop seeing him, and that was the last thing he wanted)
Adya Jessica Dalton [4:42 PM]
She blinked unsure why he seemed to relax at the last name. Maybe he knew a bad Alec or something. "It seemed not after all was said and done. I guess with all the stuff concerning my brother I can be a bit paranoid."
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [4:51 PM]
One could say that. Actually, that was exactly what it was. "After everything concerning your brother one would be a bit surprised if you weren't a bit paranoid"
Adya Jessica Dalton [4:59 PM]
She nodded. "I suppose it would indeed. What have you been up to lately." She asked leaning closer to him.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:03 PM]
"The typical." He didn't move towards her. He was curious how close she would lean before she decided to stop.
Adya Jessica Dalton [5:17 PM]
"Oh? Is it fun." She asked him softly her blue eyes turning up at him. "Did you miss me?" She added as a quick after thought for God only knows what reason.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:23 PM]
"Very" Through, she might not agree. Not many people thought the threat of possible disembowelment was fun. "Would it hurt your feeling if I said no?" He leaned forward allowing his lips to brush gentle against her own.
Adya Jessica Dalton [5:29 PM]
"Depends on if were telling the truth or not. I rather like being missed." She said with a grin. She was feeling closer to him everytime she saw him. Some would say that made spending time with him a bad idea. But she could not help it. Something about them was explosive. She closed her eyes at the kiss before opening them. "You want to get out of here?"
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:33 PM]
"You might never know. I'm a really good liar." He did miss her. Well, he did enjoy spending time with her and sometimes he wondered what she had gotten up to when they weren't together. "Ya, I don't think you want them to watch me take you upon this table." He slide away from her. He wondered whom would say such a thing about them spending time together was a bad idea.
Adya Jessica Dalton [5:41 PM]
"You might be. And I am not that good at seeing lies. Except with my brother. For some reason I could always read him." She said with a sad smile before she nodded. "We can't have that." She stood up to follow him out. She supposed those that would say she knew to little about him or that he might break her heart. He might just up and vanish for all she knew. But life was about risks and sometimes you just went with the flow.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:47 PM]
"We are just going to have help you get better." He had not meant to make her sad. "No, we can't" The same thing could be said of her, but they can't get to know each other if they never spoke. And he might just break her heart, but she might do the same to his. She was just as capable of hurting him as he was her. One never know where the road might lead if they never follow it, and she was the first person since Alec that he wanted to try with.
Adya Jessica Dalton [5:52 PM]
"We shall." Heil was forever telling her how much she sucked at it. It was part of the reason he said she shouldn't be left to her own devices. She was ready to follow him down this path wherever it might lead. She was after all growing fonder and fonder of him. But for now they would see where it went and enjoy the ride as they headed out.
Istvan Giese-Lavoie [5:54 PM]
He smiled at those words before taking her hand and leading her out the door.
