Serissa and Ragnarr

Serissa Berg [5:21 PM]

-It was a quiet day as she sat on the hilltop watching the clouds. The weather was nice and from here she could see the boats coming and going from the docks. Having no more chores to do she had decided to stay here and soak up the sun and relax till she was needed elsewhere.-

Ragnarr Hovda [5:40 PM]

It was a beautiful day for raiding. Through, one might argue that any day was a beautiful day for raiding. At the least, Ragnarr could find a way to make raiding on a clear day just as good as raiding on a stormy one. Their ship moved closer to the land. They could see people moving around upon the dock. Most unaware...oh, wait not anymore. They were close enough for someone to take notice. It was impossible to know what was being said, but frantic gestures were being made and a few people rushing off to inform whomever was in charge about the incoming ship.

Serissa Berg [5:49 PM]

-The sudden arrival of his ship had people up in arms. Serissa herself jumped up from her spot looking down watching the scene unfold below her. As she wondered what her own course of action should be. She deided to make her way to the tree line. It might be better to get lost in the woods for now.-

Ragnarr Hovda [6:07 PM]

Whatever defense these people might put into place would do little against the invading force--especially given how little time they had to prepare. They might had a better chance if someone notice Ragnarr's ship while it was still further out. The ship hit the sit of the dock and immediately warriors begun flooding out, each heading towards different directions with the promise of plunder and pillage aplenty. Ragnarr moved towards the tree line. He had caught sight of Serissa and just had to get a closer look.

Serissa Berg [7:10 PM]

-They really weren't fighters. And they weren't used to being invaded a truth that would become quickly clear as they tried their best to defend themselves. She made it to the trees unaware she was being followed as she moved deeper into the woods.-

Ragnarr Hovda [7:26 PM]

Ragnarr people didn't know what her people were used to. They only knew that they were a new land and new people ripe for the picking. He followed fter the blonde, quickly closing the distance between them.

Serissa Berg [7:39 PM]

-It suddenly occurred to her that one of the invaders was following her and closing the distance. It seemed she hadn't managed to hide all that well as she whirled around to confront him.-

Ragnarr Hovda [7:58 PM]

He let out a laugh when Serissa spun around to confront him. "Hva skal du gjøre, lille fugl?" He wasn't certain of her plan. Truth be told, he wasn't certain of his. He didn't know why he chased after her instead of toward the city where gold and gems of various sort could be found. He recalled his father's words about how sometimes the most precious treasure didn't always come in a chest.

Serissa Berg [8:17 PM]

-His words were different than hers yet they seemed close that she might understand them. She frowned looking around trying to figure out just that.- Jeg skal bide dig? -She wasn't actually sure she would but it was the best she could come u with.-

Ragnarr Hovda [9:09 PM]

"Vil du bite meg?" Wait, he understood her? At least, he thought he understood her. It might be possible that her words only sounded like his but had different meaning. He might need her to say more in order to confirm their language was mutually exchangeable.

Serissa Berg [9:26 PM]

-It seemed they could understand each other.- Måske. -To be honest she had no idea.- Kom nærmere, og du vil finde ud af. Jeg vil rive din hals ud med mine tænder. -That sounded good. Now she tried to look as scary as possible.-

Ragnarr Hovda [9:55 PM]

So it did. Through, he had no idea what the word maske meant, and for a few brief seconds he thought he had been wrong in his opinion that their language were close enough to be understood by the other. However, upon hearing her next words had him believing it once again. She sounded like she was speaking h is language with an accent--an heavy accent that made things she said unclear at times. "I think you'll find tearing a man's throat out with your teeth is harder than you think." He moved closer to her, "Jeg vil undergrave deg før du kan lykkes."

Serissa Berg [10:16 PM]

-She bet there would be words like that for them but at least they got enough to understand the basic idea. It seemed he was not convinced of her scariness. She frowned at his words.- Jeg mener det. Dette er din sidste advarsel.

Ragnarr Hovda [10:32 PM]

What scariness? She was no more scary than a wee bunny, Actually, a rabbit might be more terrifying than her. He took another step towards her. "Du kan gi meg tusen advarsler, og jeg vil tvile hverandre som jeg gjorde den første."

Serissa Berg [10:41 PM]

-The scariness she was hoping to convince him she had so he would leave. She frowned because it appeared her plan wasn't going so well. She might actually have to try biting him. She kept an eye on him watching to see what he would do.-

Ragnarr Hovda [11:08 PM]

Of course, her plan wasn't working. He had seen women warriors and she didn't have their aura. It wasn't saying she couldn't be a warrior. She had a fiery spirit. The fact she was welling to bark at him when she actually had no bite proved this. True, she might never be up to par with some of their best women warriors but one never knew if they didn't true. "Du kommer med meg. Dette er ikke en forespørsel. Det er en etterspørsel. Men hvordan du følger med meg, er opp til deg. Du kan enten komme å gå med hodet ditt oppe høyt eller sparke og skrike over ryggen min."

Serissa Berg [11:55 PM]

-It just figured he wasn't convinced. His next words took her off guard.- Gå med dig? Hvorfor? Hvor? -She seemed confused why he would want to take her anywhere. She was not an important person.-

Ragnarr Hovda [12:14 AM]

"Mitt hjem og fordi du er vakker." It was that beauty which had him following after her instead of heading towards the town like many of his fellow raider. Through, they might have found a beautiful woman to take back with them or to play with.

Serissa Berg [1:36 PM]

-She hadn't expected that answer. So, she just sort of stared at him.- Tak. -She said in regards to being called beautiful as she looked back.- Hvad hedder du?

Ragnarr Hovda [1:51 PM]

What answer was she expecting? He gave her a light smile upon hearing her words. "Ragnarr Hovda. Og hva er ditt?"

Serissa Berg [2:15 PM]

-She honestly didn't know. She thought maybe he just did not like peopl escaping.- Serissa Berg. -She answered.-

Ragnarr Hovda [2:50 PM]

There were some whom were like that. He probably could name a few if she pressed him. "Det er min ære, Serissa"

Serissa Berg [3:05 PM]

-She nodded at his words as she wondered what would happen now. Enough time had passed that his people must have collected whatever treasures they had wanted by now and dealt with any resistance.- Vil dine folk forlade nu? -She asked him curious.-

Ragnarr Hovda [3:27 PM]

"Ja, og du kommer med oss." Within a few moments some will come to look for him. He moved closer to her. "Vil du komme med meg alene eller må jeg dra deg?"

Serissa Berg [4:13 PM]

-She knew she could not fight him. She frowned at his words. For now she was going to have to go along till she could come up with something better.- Vise vejen

Ragnarr Hovda [4:45 PM]

He smiled at her words. It seemed that she decided that she wasn't able to fight him, at least not at this moment. "Denne veien" He motion her towards the direction of their ship.

Serissa Berg [5:15 PM]

-It appeared she was off on a new trip. As she followed him to his ship and probably to a new adventure.-

Ragnarr Hovda [5:27 PM]

It would be a new adventure, but he had a feeling she wouldn't have a problem adjusting to it. Her language was close to his. In fact, one might describe it as the same language. It made him wonder how similar her cultural was.

Serissa Berg [5:43 PM]

-It would indeed. There would be time to learn about each others cultures she was sure of that. For now things were being loaded and the ship was getting ready to return to their home wherever that might be.-
