Ilayda Ward [10:41 PM]
She was still a bit shaken from her visit from the king of hell. It was a bit much to take in but for now she was alone. The house was quiet and she was sitting at the kitchen sipping a glass of lemonade though her ice had long since melted. Next time JJ came she would ask him if he knew anything about what she haf been told after all he knew a thing or two of demons.
Aishan Ward [11:20 PM]
Mason was looking for his son, and someone told him that he was out here or was it they last saw him heading in this direction. Either way, it didn't hurt to search. "Jared?" He called, pushing the door of the small estate open only to find Clara.
Ilayda Ward [11:31 PM]
She looked up at the sound of a voice calling. He was looking for her host so he must know him somehow. "Jared isn't here. He comes and goes depending on when he has time but there is no way of knowing."
Aishan Ward [11:41 PM]
Her words were lost upon him. He was more focused upon the fact that she was standing here before him. Emotions were stirring within him. Emotions she would not know he was feeling due to the passive nature of his face. He closed the distance between them and kissed her. He kissed her without thought to the fact she might not have any knowledge that she was his beloved.
Ilayda Ward [11:50 PM]
Since his emotions were hidden she was taken a back by his actions as she quickly pulled away staring. "Please tell me you aren't going to call me Dia too?" It had to be about the girl whose face she shared it was the only thing that made sense.
Aishan Ward [12:00 AM]
"Dia?" He inquired, pulling away from the kiss. "Why would I do that? Surely, you have a different name this life." The way she asked that question made him believe that wasn't the case than he added. "You know whom you were?"
Ilayda Ward [12:14 AM]
"I do which is the point." She sighed. "Kind of. The king of hell was here and told me a bit about being Dia. How he cared for her and such. I...don't...wait who are you? I am sorry. I am Clara. Jared found me and offered me a quiet place to stay. And like I said the ruler of hell found me here and well...it is all overwhelming." It was indeed and she found herself staring at her drink unsure how much of her life or of anything she should even tell him. (edited)
Aishan Ward [12:31 AM]
"And what might that name be" Now everything made perfect since. Of course, Deamiel would be here. No, he wasn't saying he sought her out on purpose. Actually, he might have. He might have been drawn to her. However, the fact Jared kept her here made sense. She was the type of woman his son would be drawn to and since he didn't know of Mason's connection to her he wouldn't think of telling his father he had her. "I am Mason--Jared's father. Why did my son offer you a quiet place to stay? Yes, I can imagine that it would be. Being confronted with your past tends to be such for anyone."
Ilayda Ward [12:39 AM]
"Clara." She said as she looked at him. He had indeed came to find her. And as she had understood it was on purpose. "Oh. I see. My powers...I mean I can see magic and it overwhelms me since the city is full of it." She tried to remember what Deamiel had said on the subject. "And well...a few years ago someone tried to kill me and they think I am dead I have been hiding since so keeping a low profile while here was a good idea."
Aishan Ward [12:52 AM]
"Clara." He repeat that name as if it was something to savor. "Yes, I can imagine that it would." It, also, made sense why his son would set her up here. This place was isolated. "Someone tried to kill you? Who?"
Ilayda Ward [1:15 AM]
She nodded. "The head of the Riese family his demon helped me escape and led me later to the docks where I met your son."
Aishan Ward [1:31 AM]
"That will be the last time he hurt you" He was going to find the man, and make him suffer. Granted, Deamiel might have beat him too it. Hopefully, he didn't. Not that Mason would have fault him. He just wanted to make him bleed himself.
Ilayda Ward [1:41 AM]
"Dea said the same thing. I don't want people hurt." She really didn't though she doubted he would listen anymore than dea had to her. "What was Dia to you? I mean obviously from the kiss you like umm had a relationship. Deamiel says I will remember in time."
Aishan Ward [2:02 AM]
"You always had such a heart, but people need to be held responsible for their action." He won't tell her what he had done to the man. He would spare her that detail. "He's right you will. Did he tell you what you were to him?"
Ilayda Ward [2:34 PM]
"I just am happy to have a measure of peace. I don't need to hold people responsible." She told him with a sigh. "He said we are soul mates."
Aishan Ward [2:49 PM]
"Forgive them if you want, but don't think for a moment I will abolish them of their crimes. I hold people accountable for their actions." He let out a cold laugh upon hearing those words. "Of course, he would."
Ilayda Ward [3:04 PM]
She just gave him a look. He was as stubborn as Deamiel. His laugh made her raise an eyebrow. "You don't agree?"
Aishan Ward [3:47 PM]
He wasn't surprised by the look she gave him. Hell, he was certain that Deamiel didn't give into her will on this matter, easily if at all. "Why would I agree my soul mate is another's soulmate?"
Ilayda Ward [3:54 PM]
"Umm...well...I guess not. Are you and Dea friends?" She was trying to figure out what if anything the boys were to each other. It seemed they both thought they were the same to her.
Aishan Ward [4:05 PM]
"We are--you could say--business partners." Through, she could refer to them as friends if she wished. Mason was fond of Dea, as she called him. Well, he didn't hate him. He didn't always agree with him, and he was still a little peeved that he had tricked Mason to bring his daughter into the world. Not that Mason loathed Cerenda. He loved his daughter, but he didn't like the fact Deamiel wasn't completely honest with him about his intention when he asked Mason to help him with his ritual.
Ilayda Ward [2:38 PM]
"Oh, I see." Whatever that meant probably a magic thing. She might not want to know. She knew nothing of those events but it appeared it all worked out in the end. For the most part anyways. And she was gaining more connections from the girl that had to hide to this. The demon had been right her face could open doors for her. The question was did she want them opened.
Aishan Ward [2:51 PM]
She knew. Rather her soul knew. She had played a major part in helping cementing their deal. That was the question, and the answer is in time she will come to realize this is where she belongs. It might not be where she imagined herself being. "What has Deamiel told you about himself?"
Ilayda Ward [2:58 PM]
Perhaps. "That he rules hell. Kind of...half of it but he isn't the fallen angel. He was always a demon and such. That we were together not a lot I mean because it was so much just the basics."
Aishan Ward [3:10 PM]
He gave a light nod at her words. "He only saw you once." He would be back. Mason was certain of that.
Ilayda Ward [3:21 PM]
"I am sure that he will." It was still a lot to take in. "I suppose you will come back often too." She said looking at him.
Aishan Ward [3:26 PM]
"I will." He imagined that it was. This was why he wasn't going to get into the exact details of what they were too each other. She could come to terms to what she had learned so far.
Ilayda Ward [1:49 PM]
She had figured as much. Perhaps in time she might remember that past life and not feel so baffled and at least she was safe here. She didn't have to hide anymore and that was something.
Aishan Ward [2:17 PM]
She was safe here. He wouldn't let allow anyone to hurt her, and if someone somehow manages to succeed his wrath would be something fierce-some indeed.
Ilayda Ward [2:25 PM]
She hoped so. "I am not keeping you from things am I? I mean you were looking for Jared right?"
Aishan Ward [2:52 PM]
"Not at all. I was, but it was not something that needs to be dealt with right at this moment." He knew so.
Ilayda Ward [3:25 PM]
"Oh good." She told him looking down at her drink. She really didn't know what else to say.
Aishan Ward [3:30 PM]
There was nothing else she needed to say. Something just being in someone's presence was enough.
