Suri and Alekis

Sloane Lavoie [8:42 PM]
The newspaper was in front of her as she read. So many things thing happening all over the world it made one wonder what else was real out there. Creatures hiding just like vampires used to it was food for thought. She looked up from the paper every once in awhile to watch people pass by but she seemed content on her bench at least for the moment.

Aleksis James [8:50 PM]
Aleksis setting down on the bench next to Suri. He was very much in control of himself at the moment, but he had no idea how long that was going to last. He might become underneath Aias control at any moment. but he wasn't going to worry about that. He was going to enjoy his freedom while he could. He turned his eyes the Suri, and something on the front cover caught his interest. "Can I see that?"

Sloane Lavoie [8:56 PM]
She glanced up at the young man when he sat down but went back to reading. At least until he spoke to her. Her eyes glanced back towards him. "Sure." She said offering him the paper.

Aleksis James [9:08 PM]
"Thanks." He took the paper, and flipped it over to read the the story that count his attention. 'The God's Killer copycat strikes again.' From what he could gather this was the third victim that the police had found, and they were still at a lose of suspect. The original God Killer had no contact with the outside world. Of course, this was only partial true. The mortal whose face is associated with the the God killer has no contract with the outside world. The being whom possessed him was out running about. He wasn't certain how he would feel about someone copying him, but it wasn't that which drew his attention to the picture. He knew the woman whom was said to be the latest victim. He spoke to her. Just an hour before her apparent time of death. The most concerning part was that he might have killed her. He blanked out around that time.

Sloane Lavoie [9:15 PM]
"Sure." She told him as he took the paper. "Interested in serial killers? Seems to me if he really is a God getting out of jail should be a snap but what do I know." It was that girl that had solved the last god killer but they said she went mad. She let out a sigh looking out into the distance.

Aleksis James [9:43 PM]
"Aren't you? This could have been either of us." The thing about The God killer was his victims were varied. He thought that someone whom was mimicking him would have the same pattern or lack of one. "I don't think its the one whose in jail" Of course, there was a possibility that he was wrong. The ironic part was the girl whom solved the last case was his sister, and she would be more than happy to put his mind at ease that he wasn't the imposter.

Sloane Lavoie [9:54 PM]
"I don't know the whole thing just freaks me out." They could be though that made her wonder what the God would find wrong with the man in front of her. Wasn't that like his thing fixing imperfections or some shit. And the guy reading the paper well he didn't have any she could see. More likely she would be a victim.

Aleksis James [10:07 PM]
"Ya, it's pretty unsettling." He would have found her thought hilarious. He wasn't perfect. He wasn't even that good looking. Average, but nothing to write home about. She, on the other hand, was beautiful. He could see her becoming one of Aias's wives rather than one of his victims and if the imposter decided to kill her than that just showed he was a poor one.

Sloane Lavoie [10:30 PM]
"Indeed." She thought. She was pretty sure the man in front of her was some sort of Adonis. He seemed chiseled out of marble or at least his muscles and that hair was the envy of romance book cover models everywhere. She was pretty but nothing like that.

Aleksis James [10:39 PM]
"I hope they catch the killer soon." He folded up the paper and handed it back to her. He was not an Adonis or carved out of marble. If she saw him naked she would realized how imperfect he was. He had a scar on his abdomen from where he had his appendix taken out when he was a child. She was more than that. She was the woman whom were with those Adonis men. The ones whom didn't realize how breath taking they were.

Sloane Lavoie [10:43 PM]
"Me too." She was sure many people felt the same way about catching the killer. She was sure it was hardly noticeable under his flat ass stomach. She wasn't but it was nice he thought so. She took the paper back and placed it on her lap.

Aleksis James [10:53 PM]
They were. Especially the victims family. Through, they were far from the only ones. Others might be living in fear that they might be the next victims. It was very noticeable. And she she was. She was beautiful beyond words. "I'm Aleksis by the way." She didn't ask for his name, but why not give it to her? He might get lucky and score a date.

Sloane Lavoie [3:39 PM]
Lots of people indeed and now it was happening again. She was not beautiful beyond words. "Huh? Or eight sorry. I am Suri. Nice to meet you." How could she have forgotten introductions. She really wanted to slide into a hole now.

Aleksis James [3:42 PM]
Yes, a lot of people. Anyone really. It was difficult not to read this news and not be concerned that you might be the next victim. Most people found themselves flawed. Oh, sure there were those whom looked in the mere and saw no imperfect, but most tended to think their eyes were too close or too far apart. "It's fine." He said with a laugh. "Do you live nearby?"

Sloane Lavoie [3:56 PM]
She tilted her head at his question debating if she trusted him enough to answer that question. Finally she nodded. "Not to far."

Aleksis James [3:59 PM]
He wouldn't blame her if she decided not to trust him---especially with a killer on the lose. She had no way of knowing if he wasn't the killer. Hell, he had no way of knowing if he was. Aias might have used his body to kill those people. "So, do I. A few blocks that way." He pointed to his left.

Sloane Lavoie [4:02 PM]
She glanced where he pointed. "Oakdale Apartments?" She asked him following his finger for a moment.

Aleksis James [4:04 PM]
"Yes. You know of them?" He really shouldn't be surprised, but he found that most people even if they lived within the area tended not to know the name of the place he lived.

Sloane Lavoie [4:10 PM]
She kind of shifted her weight at his question. "Uh huh. I kind of live there too. Floor 5 apartment D." She told him looking up.

Aleksis James [4:12 PM]
"Wait, really?" Now, that would explain how she could knew what he was speaking about just by following where he pointed. "I'm literally two floors above you."

Sloane Lavoie [6:09 PM]
She nodded. "Really. What a small world." It was one of those strange things. "Next time I can't reach something I know who to bug."

Aleksis James [6:13 PM]
"Yes. A very small world." How many times have they crossed paths and not realized it. How many times did they stand on the same elevator and not see each other. "Might want my number I tend to have an erratic schedule."

Sloane Lavoie [6:29 PM]
She laughed. "Do you now? Why is that? Are you a call boy or something?" She suddenly seemed to be debating what he might do for a living.

Aleksis James [6:32 PM]
He laughed at her words. "Nothing of that sort." Okay, it might be something of that sort if she was using call boy to reference something not exactly legal. "I just tend to always be on the go. Something always come up, and recently my sister been bugging me to stay over at her place."

Sloane Lavoie [6:36 PM]
Not exactly but maybe a little. Illegal stuff did tend to come and go and hell he was pretty enough to be one. "I see." Maybe he didn't want some strange girl stopping by. He probably had a girlfriend that would take offense or something. "Anyways maybe I will see you around." She told him as she stood up.

Aleksis James [6:40 PM]
That they do, and he couldn't say he wasn't pretty enough to be one. He was asked once if he was interested. He thought it was some kinda joke. Maybe, it hadn't been. "Ya" If he didn't want her dropping by he would have told her not to bother. The fact was he suggested giving her his number because he wanted to speak to her again, and calling or texting him was he best method to do so. "Give me your phone." He held out his hand, waiting for her to do just that.

Sloane Lavoie [7:52 PM]
He was indeed pretty enough. Sometimes people tried to come up with nice ways to blow people off. "Sure." She handed him her phone waiting.

Aleksis James [7:56 PM]
Some people did. but he wasn't one of those people. He didn't try to be mean about. He just tried to make it clear he wasn't interested. He put his number into her phone. "If you need help getting something off a top shelf or simply just wish to chat give me a call." He handed her phone back to her.

Sloane Lavoie [8:03 PM]
She took the phone and flashed him a smile. "I will. If you ever want cocoa I make some at ten every night. Always make too much feel free to knock on my door and have a glass. Or something else if you don't like that. I mean. Right. Bye."

Aleksis James [8:06 PM]
"I'll be sure to stop by sometime at ten." He said with a smile. And he would. It would be soon too while the suggestion was still fresh in her mind. He wouldn't stop by six months from now where she might have forgotten this encounter. "See ya."

Sloane Lavoie [8:09 PM]
She offered him a wave and took off for home.
