It seemed that her life had fallen in place. Sometimes it felt strange all the things she did now considering her failings in the past. But here she was and feeling more sure of herself than she had since she failed her leadership test. Sitting along the beach watching the tide come and go because it was peaceful here.

Areli knew nothing of Kaleigh's failing. He knew of the leadership test, but like so many things outside the void he didn't understand it. And since his human body had not been born upon this world he couldn't turn to him to gain a better understanding. Most of his understanding of Asmiara came from his years of watching, and it was this that brought him upon the beach that day. Well, sorta. He was watching, but it wasn't because he wished to understand this world better. He was curious about Aine's high priestess. A red haired beauty. He wasn't surprised by this. Aine had a fondness of those with so much fire within their veins that it burst from their head.

It had defined so much of her self confidence if only she knew the truth of her test. It might eliminate the strings of self doubt that popped up. But that was unlikely instead her attention focused on the other on the beach. She knew who he was in part because she had seen him before and in part because of how the darkness moved through him. She knew not of any fire in her veins but red head was true enough.

There was fire within her vein. Her red hair was proof of that. He found himself standing before her, head tilting to the side as he regarded her for a few moments. Than he begun to circle around. "You're hair is redder this life." He finally told her after what seemed like an eternity of silence.

His words caused her to blink. Having no memories of her own past lives meant she would just have to take his word on it. Even through she did not remember his past body if he even had any she felt the need to respond in kind. "You were taller last time?"

He wasn't surprised that she had no recollection of her previous lives. Most mortals did not. However, her words made it seem like she recalled her past life. He knew this wasn't the case. She was just saying whatever popped into her head without any regard t how true the statement might have been. "That might be true. I wasn't wearing this face the last we met."

He didn't completely get why they wished to be reborn as a new person each time, but they did. It might be that they enjoyed the whole process of learning things all over again. Mortals were strange. They choose it. Just like Narya and his siblings choose to be reborn in the manner they were. Why would it be any other way? He certainly wouldn't have made it so they didn't have a choice. Perhaps, it had something to do with the death of the creative concepts. Perhaps, because they had been reborn without their memories so were any mortals after them. What will happen now they are regaining themselves? Would mortals be able to come into the world like the destructive concepts or would they always come into the world--empty of all memories from their previous lives. Well, assuming they didn't have a choice. "Not for your leadership skills?" He tilted his head to the side. "Why do you say that? Someone with no leadership skills wouldn't have created that help those in need organization thing you did. And don't claim it was Katia. We both know that isn't true. It was all you."

She didn't know she just knew it was always this way. His words made her look at him. "I didn't do it alone. Really I hardly did anything." She told him a little embarrassed by the praise or what she thought to be praise.
