Aureline Rose [4:31 PM]
She had heard her father had been back but quickly went out in search of some wayward siblings of hers. So, she was still waiting but she had taken to peering out the gate when she saw him coming back. A frown marring her face had he been unable to find any of them? What would that mean if it was true.
Cyrren Lyvanna [4:35 PM]
His thought was carefully guarded as he came walking through the city's gate. He turned to see Kyveli standing there, but his expression didn't change. "Have you heard any news about your sister?" She might have. This might have been the reason she came to greet him at the gate that and whatever it was she wished to speak to him about.
Aureline Rose [8:51 PM]
She watched as he approached shaking her head. "No. I only know her horse is here and no one has seen her. And everyone has been looking." She told him allowing him to get inside the gate.
Cyrren Lyvanna [8:53 PM]
He frowned at that. He hadn't really expected anything, but he had hoped. "That's all we can do. You wanted to talk?"
Aureline Rose [8:59 PM]
She just nodded her head. "Wait? Did you find the twins?" She said glancing behind him wondering if he had sent then along somewhere else.
Cyrren Lyvanna [9:25 PM]
"Yes." Now he would have to explain what had happened when he was still trying to figure it out himself. "They won't be coming home for awhile." If at all. Perhaps, he should had chased after Aerona and find a way to drag her home. He didn't know how much of Rehor remained within the monster.
Aureline Rose [9:38 PM]
"Oh? They went somewhere then?" He seemed to be acting strangely and it had her watching him. It might just be they were staying with friends or something.
Cyrren Lyvanna [9:44 PM]
"More or less." He wasn't acting strangely. Perhaps, a little thoughtful but that wasn't extremely peculiar, at least he didn't think it was. "But you wanted to talk?" He repeated his earlier question.
Aureline Rose [9:51 PM]
She stared at him. He was vaguely answering the question but she was just going to have to let t go. Besides he knew where they were that had to mean they were safe. "I don't really have a good way to say this so I guess I am going with direct. Mother has Cor's Syndrome she passed out on the way to see Grandfather. Her friend got her to Grandfather's estate but she is weak and seems to be in quite a bit of pain."
Cyrren Lyvanna [10:17 PM]
He wasn't purposely trying to evade the question. He just wasn't certain how to answer them. It was one of those things he felt you needed to be there to even understand and that was using the word understand very loosely. "Of course she does. She birth sixteen children." Cor's Syndrome was common among those women whom have given birth to lots of children. Through, it could attack any pregnant woman. "I imagine she would be. Has your grandfather sent a doctor to examine her?"
Aureline Rose [10:30 PM]
Indeed it was and well she wasn't suppose to be able to have another. She let out a sigh and nodded. "He has. The doctor doesn't believe...well...she won't survive this birth. If the baby is removed her chance of recovery is fair if not they believe she has none. I think they are wondering what they should do."
Cyrren Lyvanna [10:47 PM]
Cyrren had never thought anything about Eiriol not having another child. He knew what the doctors said, but he also knew that people defied expectations. He was not hurting for children. He had his heir and few spares. Through, with recent events he was done to just one spare. "What does your mother say? Has anyone spoken to her?" Whom was he kidding. He knew what she would say. She would tell them not attempt to remove her child. Yet, he didn't wish to see her die. They already had sixteen beautiful child. Loosing one whom was never born would not matter. Yet, they had already lost two. He did not wish to break Eiriol's heart anymore than he already did nor did he wish to lose another child even one whom had not been born yet.
Aureline Rose [10:56 PM]
She just glanced at him. "She really can't say anything. She doesn't have enough...she just floats in and out. There isn't an answer there. It is part of the reason I came here." (edited)
Cyrren Lyvanna [11:04 PM]
He just nodded his head. That answered how serious her condition was. Kyveli had said she was weak, but that did not automatically mean she was unconscious. "And the other part?" There was no point in dwelling on his wife's condition. He would be riding to where she was staying very soon. He just hoped he would find Cadenza before he set out. The last thing he needed to have was worry of his daughter wellbeing heavy upon his mind while he worried about his wife. Truth be told, there was anger along with that worry. If she turned up alive Aelos help him that child was going to have a lot of explaining to do.
Aureline Rose [11:13 PM]
''She wondered what was going on in his head at the moment. She supposed he was gathering his thoughts. She honestly did not know what she would do if she was him. "That is all I know about everything. Seems so much is going on here."
Cyrren Lyvanna [11:18 PM]
Truth be told, he didn't completely know what was going on inside his head. Everything seemed to be falling apart around him. One by one his children were dying or disappearing. He feared that he would find Caddy's body floating in a river someplace, or worse he will wake up to discover that all his children had perished along with their mother. "There is, and I get the feeling it is not close to being over. But, isn't that always true?"
Aureline Rose [11:24 PM]
She offered him a weak smile. "It does seem that way. Do you need my help with anything?"
Cyrren Lyvanna [11:37 PM]
"Finding your sister, but I think we could have the entire kingdom searching for her and we still come up empty handed" He smiled at her. "You can tell me what you been up to since we last talked"
Aureline Rose [1:41 PM]
"It seems that way. Quite frankly is it wrong to hope she was stolen? Because if she just wandered off I am quite disappointed with her." She just smiled. "The usual helping grandfather, exploring a bit."
Cyrren Lyvanna [1:59 PM]
He laughed softly at her words. "If it is wrong than we both are wrong. Through, there is another part that hopes she simply gotten lost within the tunnels of the city that way she wouldn't broken my rules about leaving the city without an escort." Even through, they would know that he didn't mean she had free rein to explore the tunnels. She was not like Lanim. None of his children were like Lanim when it came to the tunnels. True, some knew it better than others. Some could navigate it if they wished and they knew the passages that Cyrren had showed them, but they did not know it the way his heir knew it. Truth be told, Lanim knew the tunnels better than he. "Find anything interesting on these explorations?"
Aureline Rose [2:22 PM]
"I suppose we can be bad together. Sometimes Caddy does get lost in her own little world." She thought how Caddy seemed to think she could wander like Lanim, Dilana, or Meira but they were very different for so many reasons. She shook the thought off. "Not really."
Cyrren Lyvanna [2:28 PM]
"We can. Sometimes it seems more than sometimes." She did, but Caddy's head was more in the clouds than either of those three. He didn't want her to believe that dreaming was bad. He wished his children to dream, but there were times he believes she was too absorbed in her dreams that she had forgotten what reality looks like. "Ah, well I suppose not every exploration can have results."
Aureline Rose [2:32 PM]
"No. Though my lord did say he got Isla to climb a tree. Can you imagine?" She said with a smile. Her sister rarely did anything she believed her husband would disapprove of.
Cyrren Lyvanna [2:37 PM]
"That must have been quite the sight. What was she drunk?" It was true Isla rarely did anything that Cesare disapproved of. They were a good match, and he got the feeling that they cared a great deal for each other. That what any father wanted was to find children matches they loved and whom loved them back. Oh, there was no doubt within his mind that their relationship wasn't perfect. No relationship is
Aureline Rose [2:44 PM]
"No. He just keep saying she couldn't. I guess she wanted to prove him wrong." She knew from conversations how Isla felt but she could not speak for Cesare. "I heard you have a new mistress."
Cyrren Lyvanna [2:53 PM]
"She is her parent's child." He could imagine either himself or Eiriol rising up to greet such a challenge the same way. She could only speak for Isla because they had a conversation about it. The same might be said of Cesare. Through, Cyrren doubted he would be forthcoming about such information. "I have. I'm not surprised you heard this. The kingdom is probably all a flutter." Cyrren had many lovers, but he took few for long-term and even fewer as a mistress.
Aureline Rose [3:15 PM]
She just nodded. "They are and a peasant no less. I mean that is what the rumors are all a flutter about. She must be something if you are planning on keeping her around."
Cyrren Lyvanna [3:18 PM]
"She is. I will have to introduce you sometimes." He didn't care about her being a peasant. Truth be told, while he was aware of that fact he didn't notice it when he looked upon her.
Aureline Rose [3:24 PM]
"You shall. I am sure she is nice. Most those you keep seem to be just as I keep hearing about my brother and as people call her the rose girl he brought home with him."
Cyrren Lyvanna [3:39 PM]
"She is. You would like her. All those I keep are nice. Just some are harder to see this than others. Ah, yes. She....special." He wasn't certain how to explain Lanim's lover, but he had a feeling it would be easier than trying to explain what happened to Rehor.
Aureline Rose [3:49 PM]
She laughed. "I think my brother likes special." She said in regards to his friendship with a certain priestess.
Cyrren Lyvanna [3:56 PM]
"I think he does. His rose has survived the black death, and she seems to have the ability to heal others from it. Through, from what I understand it doesn't work all the time"
Aureline Rose [4:00 PM]
"Too bad. Imagine if it worked all the time. Though can you imagine the riots from people wanting her to cure them." She just shuddered at the thought.
Cyrren Lyvanna [4:07 PM]
"I can imagine the riots if people discover she can do such a thing period." The poor girl would be constantly bombarded with request to heal loved ones, and how they would take the failed attempts. Some might understand she had done all she could, but others might believe she had let them die on purpose. Peasants didn't always understand that some things were out of the hands of those with power.
Aureline Rose [2:29 PM]
"Indeed. I take it is a closely guarded secret." Poor girl she thought. Did she feel like she failed whenever she couldn't save someone? People could be horrid about such things on one side she understood the desire to heal sick loved ones but on the other you can't be cruel to a healer for trying their best or expect them to give more than they could handle.
Cyrren Lyvanna [2:38 PM]
"Yes, it is." It did indeed suck. He had seen healers torn apart by the mob because they were unable to heal someone. Of course, he would do everything within his power to keep such a thing from happening again.
Aureline Rose [2:51 PM]
Sadly some people just sucked. "I suppose you are wanting to be going huh? I can ride with you if you like." She offered her father.
Cyrren Lyvanna [2:52 PM]
"I would like that." He said nothing about wanting to go. There was no need to state the obvious. He just wished he had found Caddy before he decided to head off. He was a tad annoyed that she had vanished like she had--even if he knew it might not have been her fault.
Aureline Rose [2:55 PM]
She nodded her head. She figured having someone with you in times like this was a good thing. Though a part of her did wonder if he wanted to wait till they found Caddy. The question was could they wait. What if they never found her? So many thoughts. Shaking her head she looked up at him. "Whenever you decide it is time."
Cyrren Lyvanna [2:58 PM]
That was the question. Eiriol didn't have all the time in the world. Truth be told, she didn't have much time. "Okay. I'm going to wait a day or two before heading out." That might not be enough time to find Caddy, but he doubted that a couple days would be bad regarding Eiriol's condition.
Aureline Rose [3:03 PM]
She nodded her head. "Let me know when you are ready." She said offering him a hug before leaving the room.
Cyrren Lyvanna [3:04 PM]
"I shall" He return that embrace before heading of to see if there was any news regarding his daughter
