Cain and Ciya

Adya Jessica Dalton [5:47 PM]
Hmm...there was always something to see if she tried to find ir. Or was it she just sort of ended up in strange places without trying. Luci said keeping her anywhere was like trying to catch the wind. She had no idea what he was talking about. At this moment she had found dirt. A big pile and she was sitting on it. It was a part of a garden but she found the playing with the dirt relaxing so she keep lifting it up to let it fall back down through her fingers.

Quintin Devone [5:57 PM]
Cain wasn't expecting a visitor, but it appeared that he had gotten one. He turned his eyes towards the woman whom had decided to sit upon his pile of dirt. "Do you mind?" He pushed at her with his shovel--not hard just enough to nudge her. He hoped it would be enough to get her to move than he could get back to work.

Adya Jessica Dalton [6:01 PM]
She jumped a bit as she was nudged and found herself looking up at the sound of his voice. A slight tilt of her head as she tried to figure out if she had heard the voice before. Looking around she frowned as she looked at him. "I like the dirt." She told him as if that explained everything. "Do you have any fries?"

Quintin Devone [6:06 PM]
"You can like the dirt over there." He gestured with his shovel behind him. "You're in my way." He watched her, waiting for her to move before hearing her question. "Ya, I keep them in my pocket." He told he sarcastically. Did she really think she would find fries out here? Surely, someone had showed her where the kitchen was.

Adya Jessica Dalton [6:09 PM]
"This dirt is better. It sings. Can you hear it?" She told him rocking in her place before jumping up and reaching in his pocket. "Really?" Of course his sarcasm lost on her. She knew where it was...sort of. Well she had found it before but that was besides the point.

Quintin Devone [6:27 PM]
"You can hear the dirt?" Now, that was not something you hear everyday and he found himself studying the stranger more intently. "Who are you?" He moved away from her as she attempted to dig into his pocket. He should have known that sarcasm would be lost upon her. There was something about her that told him she took things too literally. He didn't know why. It was just a feeling he got. Perhaps, it was her response now.

Adya Jessica Dalton [7:46 PM]
"Can't everyone?" She said a puzzled look coming across her face as if she really believed they should be able to. She had a hard time not understanding why others could not do what was so natural to her. An almost childlike innocence in her very mannerism. "Oh yes. I forgot. Introductions are important. Ciya. I am Ciya. Nice to meet you."

Quintin Devone [7:52 PM]
"No." During his long existence he had only encountered a handful of people whom could commune with the earth in the manner that she had discussed, and they were 'blessed' by God. "Ciya is that all?" He was waiting for her to go on about how she was God's chosen. Those whom were 'blessed' tend to do such a thing. They tended to be egostical people, and really whom could blame them. Anyone probably be that way if they were told their entire life they are special.

Adya Jessica Dalton [7:57 PM]
"Oh..." She said softly. "Well I can and it sings beautifully. It likes you." She said nodding at him. "Ciya Meir. That isn't really important. I am pretty much just Ciya. Luci Lu made me come here. He can be such a pain but my friend Damien got to come to and he is the bestest."

Quintin Devone [8:07 PM]
"Is that so?" He couldn't really argue that it didn't like him. He had always had something of a green thumb, as the saying went. Things just seemed to grow for him. It was why he took up farming before he was cursed and continue to have a garden. There was something comforting about working the earth. The feel of it between his fingers. The sweat on his brow. Sure, there were those whom wouldn't agree. They find the idea of working the land to be tedious at best, but truth be told Cain found as much joy in this as he did when he is upon the battle field. "Are you Lucifer's newest pet?" It did not really matter what she was to Lucifer. He hoped she understood what he meant. "Damien?"

Adya Jessica Dalton [8:14 PM]
She smiled as she nodded her head standing slowly as her gaze moved around the area. She bet. People were complicated she was learning they loved all sort of things. "Pet? Goodness I don't think so." She was not sure how to explain what they were exactly. The very thought seemed to frustrate her a bit as she frowned slightly before dismissing it. "Yes, Damien Leclair he is a...knight..or and sometimes there is a girl knight that goes places with me. Acelynn. I don't get it." She whispered to him. "Luci is strange."

Quintin Devone [8:23 PM]
"You are his are you not?" It seemed she didn't really understand it. He should have figured. She was too literal to read between the lines. "You are under his protection?" He took a step towards her. "A knight of heaven. Acelynn? Why does she go places with her?" Was she one of Acelynn's friend? Did Lucifer collect her to try to convince Acelynn to submit to him more or perhaps simply because he could. One could never guess Lucifer's motivation.

Adya Jessica Dalton [8:34 PM]
Her eyes flickered up towards him her silverish eyes considering. "He wishes to protect me though I am not sure why. So, yes though belonging does mean a bit more I think than that. I would say friends because I would protect him as well. So perhaps we belong to each other? Though I am not sure it is like his other pets. Yes. Knights of heaven." She sighed softly.

Quintin Devone [9:13 PM]
"She is your protector?" That was strange? Sure, he gives those he desire guards, but he didn't assign a knight of heaven to them. Through, the real question was why would a knight of heaven agree to such as duty? They didn't typically take bodyguard jobs. This rose the question who was this female. He reached out his hand seizing her by the chin, pulling her close and looking into those silverish eyes of hers.

Adya Jessica Dalton [9:25 PM]
"Yes, as is Damien." She really knew little to know that this was strange. It was one of those things that she just figured was the way it was suppose to be. As if grabbed her chin to look into her silver blue eyes it would be like falling into the cosmos, almost like eternity could be found within them as she blinked.

Quintin Devone [9:40 PM]
They were both her protector? Okay one knight of heaven bodyguard was strange. Two? Two was unbelievable. Yet, there was no reason for this female to lie to him about such things. He doubted she knew what a lie was let alone how to. It was the very moment that he started to fall into the cosmos he knew. He knew whom she was, and more than that why Lucifer would be so gun-ho to protect her and why two knights of heaven would agree to protect her. He shoved her away---harder than he might have intended. The real question was her whole naive thing just an act? If it was what was she doing here. What did she hope to achieve? Was it some effort to win the war? She must be desperate if she thought coming here and flashing her pretty silver eyes would get her that. He should beat her with his shovel. It would feel could good to watch her bleed. That act alone would reveal her for the pretender she was. He doubt God would just stand there and allow herself to be beaten. She would find insult in the mire thought alone. What if he was wrong? What if she was not pretending? Would her power allow such harm to befall her? Was her knights around watching from the shadows? However, it would feel good to hit her. He clench his teeth, pushing the desire aside--luckily for her there was one person he wished to hit more at this moment. "I see." He finally said, putting that shovel right to work in the soil.

Adya Jessica Dalton [9:59 PM]
They were. She stood staring at him waiting to see what he might be doing by looking at her in such a matter but his demeanor changed. He seemed mas and it confuse her as she blinked at him. She didn't know what would happen truth ne told. Would her powers strike him down if he tried? It was an interesting thought when you added his curse into the mix. "Have I wronged you?" She said studying him trying ti figure out why he suddenly felt so cold.

Quintin Devone [10:16 PM]
"You know." Whether or not she recalled, deep down in her subconsciousness she knew what she had done to receive this behavior from him. There was no need for him to paint her a pretty little picture, and as much as he wished to pop her little bubble if she had truly forgotten he wasn't certain if it would be wise. Whom knew the damage revealing this information might cause her and while he had this overwhelming urge to beat her to a bloody pulp he didn't wish to cause her irreversible damage.

Adya Jessica Dalton [10:24 PM]
"I do not. I woke up and only knew my name so if I did something to you.,,I don't know." She said a pout forming on her lips. "Wait...if I did something to you--you knew me before. You can yell me about me." She suddenly decided to cling to his back as if he was a life raft because he sort of was.

Quintin Devone [10:38 PM]
"You do." His tone broker no argument. It was as if he was telling her that she could accept his word or she couldn't, and it didn't matter to him whether she did or didn't. Truth be told, he actually expected her not to admit she knew what she had done. She so liked living in this grand delusion that she was perfection made flesh, and why shouldn't she? She was God. She was the creator of everything around them. She could bring them all to ruin with a blink of an eye. The world owed its very existence to her. Yet, her little children wont as enamored with her as she might have thought they should be. It must annoy her that they were turning towards Lucifer. He wanted to laugh and ask how does it feel not to be good enough? How did it feel to have someone get all the praise and admiration you desire? It must sting? She must feel enraged? She was perfection how could they not look upon her and want nothing more than to please her and bask within her glory? He paused in his movement as she clung to his back. He wanted to roll his shoulder until she came tumbling off, but there was something enjoyable about her desperation there. It was a vulnerability that he didn't think she was capable of and if she had her memory still she must be desperate to behave in such a manner, and if she had lost her memory while he could remind her of this moment when she gained it back. "I could, but I won't."

Adya Jessica Dalton [10:51 PM]
That was what he thought. His tone made her want to argue with him but instead she stayed clinging to him. It might surprise him to know she was more vulnerable than she let on. After the death of her first children she had to push her new ones to ensure they stayed on the right path. People did not understand her methods but she always had a Reasoner for what she did. She felt sad. Sad that people had to pick sides. Sad that her angels had been divided. However yes she was God and she had to do what was best for the world. "Then i am not letting go." She said her voice quaking because she really wanted to know it was hard not knowing.

Quintin Devone [10:57 PM]
It was what he knew. He doubted she knew what the world vulnerable meant let along how to be it. Oh, he was certain she had her reasons. He was told his entire childhood that she had her reasons for the things she did and it wasn't his place to question her. Questions was bad. When she said jump he wasn't even suppose to ask how high. He just was suppose to jump. Aside from that. everyone had a reason for their actions. Others might not understand it, but there it was. "You're going to stay there for eternity"

Adya Jessica Dalton [11:03 PM]
She peered over his back her hair falling across his shoulder. She did so know. Of course he was it was for his own good. Why did he have to question that? "Yes." She answered with a quick nod of her head.

Quintin Devone [11:13 PM]
Why? Why not? What was so wrong with questions? Besides, didn't she make them this way? Or did they become this way because his mother and Adam had eaten from the garden of Eden? Was that why she was so upset with that action? Because the very moment they did they become something more than her creation and she couldn't control their progress? Were they suppose to stay within the garden until her universe truth become their reality and they accepted it so completely that there were no room for questions. Was eating that apple man gaining free will and that was the last thing she wished? She wanted them to be nothing more than little mindless minions whom hung upon her every word? He had to admit he found the appeal to such a thing. He had a taste of it with his own minions, but that did not mean he liked the idea of being someone else's minion. "Suit yourself. It just means no fries for you."

Adya Jessica Dalton [1:40 PM]
He was suppose to have faith. She wanted them to think for themselves but she also wanted them to stay on the right path. It had hurt her so when her first children had gone dark. She was so torn between wanting her creations to be free but wanting to protect them. She was unsure she understood it herself. "Damien will bring me fries." She told him peering over a smile forming on her lips.

Quintin Devone [1:58 PM]
Oh, yes faith. That thing one was suppose to follow without question. He never got the point of blind faith. People had explained it to him, but he never grasped it. Perhaps, that what made him not a good Christian as some would call it. He was not a little sheep that went wherever he was told. He did not accept the word of God exactly as it was. Some might claim he was following another just as blindly, but Lucifer was different. He had made the decision to follow him, and he still question him. Lucifer even encouraged it. "And it will just sit there growing cold---not being eaten. Ever had cold fries?"

Adya Jessica Dalton [2:02 PM]
"Fries don't go cold. They are too perfect." She told him with a giggle. "Besides it isn't nice not to tell me who I am. I mean you are mad at me and I can't even say sorry because I don't know what happened." She said pouting as she slide off and peered at him.

Quintin Devone [2:10 PM]
"They do and they get soggy." He spoke these words as if he was telling her the most scandalous secret. "There are some things you need to figure out for yourself." He said nothing to her words about not being able to say sorry. If she knew whom she was she wouldn't say sorry. She just wasn't the type, and the word were meaningless if she didn't recall what she had done.

Adya Jessica Dalton [2:14 PM]
"Maybe I am suppose to figure it out by finding you and having you tell me. Did you ever think of that?" She said nothing about the fries her mind refusing to accept any imperfections within them. She might who knew. She sighed. "But I have a funny feeling you are too stubborn to tell me. So..I am going to watch you maybe it will come to me."

Quintin Devone [2:31 PM]
"I don't think so." If someone was suppose to reveal the truth to her than it would have happened before he came along. He didn't believe that she would have chosen him to play that part when she decided to do whatever she done. She would have picked someone else. She always picked someone else over him. Probably Abel if he had still been alive. "Maybe it will." (edited)

Adya Jessica Dalton [2:40 PM]
She might have picked him just because he thought she would not. But that was assuming this state was her doing. She nodded as she sat down watching him work trying to trigger a memory where she would stay for as long as he did or someone came to find her.

Quintin Devone [2:46 PM]
No, he knew her. Which some might claim was a laugh within it self because one cannot truly know God. She was beyond their understanding, but he knew her when it came to picking him. She would always pick someone else. He was always second within her eyes. Hell, he might be last, whom knew. The point was when it came to giving her favor he was never the one she picked. When he had been a child it had always been Abel. Abel the perfect one. Abel the one whom did no wrong. He turned from her and begun to get back to work. She could stay and watch him all she wished. He didn't think that her so called lost memories will return just from that action alone.

Adya Jessica Dalton [3:01 PM]
Who knew they might. zit was worth a try. And she was sure that he was picked more than he thought. Or maybe she didn't think he needed the attention as much as others who knew. The fact he didn't seem to know his worth to her suggested he did not know her as well as he thought. But it was alright in the end it didn't matter for now she was going to try and figure him out.

Quintin Devone [3:16 PM]
He was never picked. She had always picked Abel over him. And he was certain if he had vied for her attention with someone else she would have picked this other person over him. His gifts were never good enough. His feat of devotion were never good enough. He recalled every time he and his brother stood before her presenting their offering how much he hoped that this would be the time she picked him and knowing that it would not. He had been a fool, but no more. he did not look towards her for acceptance. He would not stand before her with others in hope that it would be him that she choose to give her blessing to. She could try, but she probably wouldn't figure him out more than she ever have.

Adya Jessica Dalton [3:21 PM]
"you are really good at that." She told him softly. "I love watching things grow." She said before becoming qiet once more and letting her thoughts drift away.

Quintin Devone [3:24 PM]
"It will be awhile before you see any evidence of growth. Unless, it is a certain species of bamboo which is known to grow 35 inches a day." He said nothing about her comment of being really good at what he was doing. It was a compliment sure, but only because at this moment she had no one to compare him to.

Adya Jessica Dalton [3:32 PM]
"Oh." She would have to come back and check on them to see how they grew. She nodded and tried to remember.
