Aureline Rose [5:07 PM]
The streets were crowded with people as she moved through them looking for clues. Anything out of place symbols, signs, statues, people that seemed to be herding others a certain way. Anything that pointed towards a ritual. She had to stop it or a lot of people were going to die. She wasn't sure she could fault Aias for wanting a body, a connection to the world but she wasn't about to let innocent people die. So she continued to move. All the signs pointed to today and well the street festival was the perfect plce to get enough people.
Defrim Rose [5:17 PM]
Due to his connection to Aias, Aleksis knew where this ritual was taking place. This gave him a lead way over his sister. Through, if anyone could figure out where it would occur it would be her. There was no one better at puzzles than Nilyne. It was her genius of her mind that drew Aias to her in the first place, and what made him keep Aleksis. It didn't matter if compared to his sister that he was nothing more than a candle barely holding onto its flame. By claiming him, Aias only increased his chances of doing the same with the sibling that he wanted. He glanced seeing his sister. He was not surprised to see here there. Yet, there was a piece of him that wished she had not come. He wished she could live a life away from gods and ancient rituals.
Dimah Moroz [5:27 PM]
*It seemed an eternity ago since they started the preparations for the ritual that it felt almost surreal that the day was finally upon them. Dimah had never felt this excited within his life. He had heard of people talk about that feeling you got as a child on Christmas eve--- a feeling he never knew, but now...now he was starting to understand what they meant. He turned his eyes towards the people being lead to where the ritual that were taking place. How many had any idea of what was going to happen? How many thought they were nothing more than cows being lead the slaughter? That was a foolish thought. Their death would have more meaning than what one might think when images of a slaughterhouse appear within their mind. They were dying for something far greater than man.*
Aerona Lyvanna [5:34 PM]
-She might have been sad at least for how easily people were led exactly where they wanted them. On the mark as it were ignoring the writing on the wall as the saying went or in this case the marking on the ground. Craved to send the blood towards the alter to pull the power her and Dimah would need. Her eyes scanning for problems with placement of her people. Looking for wandering among the cattle as her mind wanted to call them. After all they were expandable.-
Rehor Lyvanna [5:46 PM]
*If Dimah had felt the wait for the day to complete the ritual had seemed liked an eternity than how long must have it been for Aias to find a body worthy of such a ritual? He had claimed other bodies before, but none held quality needed to contain his essence. Try as he might he could not keep these bodies from deteriorating to the point that his powers could not salvage it. He lost count how many bodies he went through. Some lasted longer than others, but none he knew would be the one that would be his. That was until he found his way into this one. He turned his eyes towards the cattle being lead to their spot and where they would give their life for something far greater than they.*
Aureline Rose [6:22 PM]
It was the marking that would catch her eye as she followed the patterns and the people moving as fast as she could before catching sight of her brother. People should be allowed to decide if they wanted to die for something. She hoped that her brother wasn't too deep under Aias's control today as she climbed up on a nearby stage. Showtime, Nil. She thought grabbing a mic from a rather shocked singer. "Umm hello...people." What the heck was she going yo say a God was about to kill them for a ritual way to look crazy. "Fire!." She yelled as loud as she could.
(*is good girl*)
Rehor Lyvanna [6:34 PM]
(Pfft)
Defrim Rose [6:56 PM]
He was not underneath anyone's control, but he could not say if that was from lack of trying of if his will was just too strong for the moment. Everyone at the compound was too concerned with getting the final preparation ready for the ritual that they didn't pay much attention to him. It might helped that he had done nothing to hinder their preparation--at least not enough that would delay them greatly. He might have misplaced things--hoping to keep the ritual delayed just enough that it couldn't be preformed until next year or the fellow year even twenty years from now if they were lucky. He kept his eyes upon his sister, curious what she was going to do. There was no doubt within his mind that it would be something that would be something dramatic, and sure enough it was.
Dimah Moroz [7:07 PM]
*There was Nilyne. Dimah was wondering whether or not she would show up. Of course, she would want to. She has been standing against Aias since she had discovered his existence, but that did not mean she would be in any state of mind to do anything to stop what was happening here. It seemed that the coin of chance had landed in her favor. He smiled when she yelled fire. It was expected, but his amusement did not come from that fact. It came from the lack of reaction from the people. They just stared at her as if she did nothing more than comment upon the weather. He reached out, grabbing the mic from Nilyne's hand and spoke with that slight Russian accent of his right into the mic.* "Hop on one leg." *Sure enough everyone aside for a few whom were not expandable did as Dimah command. "Stop" And they did so just as soon as the word escaped his lips. He turned towards Nilyne, holding the mic towards her* "Do you want to yell fire again? It might work if you scream it louder?"
Aerona Lyvanna [8:13 PM]
-And there she was the beautifully annoying Nilyne. She understood why her God wanted her. The girl had a will to defy even a God and once again she was showing it. She wondered if Ms. James ever tired of seeing what the rest of the world missed as she wondered what she would try next because she had no doubt that she had given up.-
Rehor Lyvanna [8:36 PM]
*Anyone whom knew Nilyne would not be surprised to find her here. She was one of Aias' chosen wives and even if that was not the case she was not one to sit by and allow Aias to do what he willed when she thought it was wrong. He said nothing from his position. Just watch the scene play out before him with undeniable curiosity over Nilyne's next action. She would not accept defeat so easily and she might even yell fire again. One never know.*
Aureline Rose [8:49 PM]
Oh you. She thought glaring at Dimah her eyes moving around always thinking. Had to be a spell. Now how to break it? Her eyes falling on Aias for the brief second before looking down when in doubt smash things? She thought. Time to paint or something like that as she reached up happy these events had a little bit of everything as she grabbed a string with decorations going across cutting it to swing to the other side to the artist booth grabbing paint and flinging it on the marking on the ground before grabbing a pick from a sculpture and chipping away at the cement. Hopefully that would do something.
Defrim Rose [9:14 PM]
Everyone was looking at his sister with their breath held---waiting to see what she was going to do next. Truth be told, Aleksis found himself curious and sure enough none of them had to wait long before she started to act. Some might call her actions that of the desperate, and perhaps it was. Yet, the method she was using could be very effective. More than some might guess, and he joined in with his sister--knocking shelves over and doing whatever he could to alter the marking upon the ground just that much.
Dimah Moroz [9:21 PM]
*So she wasn't going to scream. He had suspected she would not take his suggestion, but he was slightly disappointing all the same. Some of their soldiers rushed forward to stop her and her brother whom decided to join in. Surprise not surprise Aleksis was no more under their god's will as his sister. He shook his head at the soldiers. They were doing no harm to the marking upon the ground thus the ritual would go as planned. In fact, the paint that was being knocked down was Dimah's own creation and it begun to flow through the marking as if it was no different than the blood that would flow forth from the veins of those still standing.* "Now is good as time as any." *He told Alinae, knowing she would understand just what he meant. The ritual could begin.*
Aerona Lyvanna [9:49 PM]
-Determined. The girl was surely that. She nodded as she took her place. Her dark hair blowing as she summoned the elements to her. The air becoming charged as they answered her call one by one the people quietly watching as they the natural forces added power to the glyphs on the ground.-
Rehor Lyvanna [10:06 PM]
*Nilyne certainly was determined. It was what drew him to her in the first place---that strength of will that rivaled his own. Only a few mortals possessed it. Yet, none to the point that Nilyne or even her brother had. They defied him when others would have submitted to him by now--whether it was because he proved his will stronger than theirs or because they choose too. He preferred the latter if truth was told. You had more control over someone when they willingly submitted. Yet, she will come to learn that even her determination was not enough to stop what would happen now.*
Aureline Rose [10:11 PM]
Okay. Great she was running out of time. Any minute blood was going to hit the street and people were going yo die, New approach she thought her eyes falling on Aias. "I thought you were perfect. You can't do this without hurting people? Come on. What is up with that?" Goad a God good idea Nil.
Defrim Rose [10:31 PM]
There were those whom might have found Nilyne foolish for goading a God, but Aleksis was not one of them. He felt...was it pride? He didn't know for certain. What he did know was he was glad she did not give up when her plans didn't work. She just went onto the next one. It was impossible to tell if the next one would work, but it was worth a shoot and it was better than doing nothing. While Nilyne was speaking with Aias, Aleksis grabbed a person to physically remove them from the circle.
Dimah Moroz [10:44 PM]
*It seemed that one attempt to end the ritual moved onto the next one. It was all done in vain, of course. There was no stopping what was happening now. He smiled at Nilyne's words, but he made no comment. He didn't need to. That was for Aias to address. His amusement only increased upon seeing Aleksis attempt to drag someone out of the circle. He would find the person heavier than he would suspect. He moved closer to Alinae as he joined her in summoning the elements.*
Aerona Lyvanna [10:48 PM]
-Was she now goading the God? She frowned. She really was going to try just about everything she thought as it seemed like sister like brother. They would tear it apart by moving pebbles if such a thing would work. She nodded as people moved knives beginning to rise.-
Rehor Lyvanna [10:58 PM]
"I never claimed to be perfect." *Aias responded to Nilyne goading with clear amusement. Perhaps, it was their entire effort to stop the ritual that had him tickled pink.* "If I wished to use another method to achieve my goal I would, but I would not be known as the god of fear and pain if I was not inclined to make people suffer to make my desire a reality." "Hello, miser get his rep as a killer for fixing imperfections." She replied with a snort as she moved towards his location. Had to think quick here. Time was not on her side as she looked towards Alinae and Dimah and the crowd. Her brother was trying but like her making no progress. "Sure. That is what you say. I don't believe it. And I know my belief isn't needed for it to be true, Still. I kind of thought maybe you wanted to be better. It seemed so from all the talks we had. If this isn't needed it is just unnecessary death and I thought you were above that."
She was now climbing up to where he was at to stand right in front of him. "Or you wanted to be. Making people afraid you had to do for food. Killing these people you don't need to do. And you are always saying you would do anything for me. Do this. Show me how powerful you really are. You want me to say those god damn words you take that body without any one dying and claim that body by your own damn powers."

It appeared that the person Aleksis attempted to move was a statue that had been bolted into place and no matter how much he pushed and pulled it would not bugged. And each person he attempted to move proved to be the same. This did not stop him from trying each person--perhaps there was one whom were not as secured as the others and he could remove them from the circle. He turned his attention towards his sister, whom was climbing the step. "Don't you dare." He screamed at his sister. "You don't need to make any deals with the devil." True, Aias was not the devil, but Nilyne would understand his meaning. His eyes snapped towards Dimah and Alinae--if his high priest and priestess were dead than the ritual could not be completely. He rushed towards them, grabbing a knife he aimed for Alinae. He figured that out of the two she was the weakest link thus the easiest to be killed. All he needed was to kill just one of them. Both would be better, but one should be enough to stop the ritual.
Dimah Moroz [12:06 AM]
*Dimah listened to Nilyne's conversation with Aias with great amusement. It appeared she was still going with goading the god into stopping the ritual herself. He didn't have much time to process what was being said when Aleksis came charging at Alinae with a knife. He moved to intercept them. It wasn't because he believed Alinae was incapable of defending herself. She was more than capable. It was merely because she was his, and no one aside from either Dimah or Aias were allowed to cause her pain. He met Aleksis knife with his own sword* "You might wish to get a bigger blade, rytsar' "
Aerona Lyvanna [12:09 AM]
-She watched the scene between Nil and Aias unfold when it seemed she was about to be attacked. Rising her hand the air whipping around her but before she acted Dimah was defending her. She smiled at him as she waited ti see what the James siblings would try next.-
Rehor Lyvanna [12:34 AM]
"You think I killed people for being imperfect because I was perfect?" *He let out a short laugh, as if that was the most ridiculous thing he heard. True, time was not on her side. Time was not on anyone's side....not even his. He kept his eyes pinned upon Nilyne. He trusted Dimah and Alinae to continue the ritual in spite what the other James' sibling decided to do.* "You think I am killing them because I need their life force for my ritual? That is where you are wrong. I have been sealed away from my full powers for eons beyond counting. What do you think that means? If you know I did the things I have done for food--how hungry do I think I will be once I am whole?" *He took a step towards her* "I don't need to prove anything to you. I am a god. I am beyond your understanding and comprehension. I will not grant you a gift before you submit nor would I grant you this one even if you did. In fact, I think we should bring more people into the circle." *He turned his eyes towards some of his men whom had been placed in charge of herding people into the circle.* "I need more." *He told him and sure enough the man begun to obey his command. He turned his eyes towards Nilyne.* "I could kill this entire city to fuel this entire ritual if I wished. Don't goad me into doing so." (edited)

"You always said they had things wrong with them." She said with a stomp of her foot glancing towards her brother concern on her face for what Aias's minions might pull. She held her ground when he moved towards her. She seemed to be considering something. "Will you starve if you don't kill them? Not demanding nothing here just curious." She said as he ordered more people into the circle her brother probably guessing that she was weighing everything she was told carefully to make a final conclusion having see her do it enough. Her expression carefully guarded.
Defrim Rose [2:48 PM]
Of course, Dimah would leap to Alinae defense. There were things about the man he did not like but his unwavering love and devotion for Alinae was not one of them. He had seen few people whom loved another as Dimah seemed to adore his counterpart. He turned his focus upon the moment. He knew better than most Dimah was more capable than most and he had a sword compared to his tiny dagger. "Mine will be enough."
Dimah Moroz [2:52 PM]
*A wide smile spread across his face upon hearing Aleksis words* "Is that so?" *He raised his brow--a clear gesture that he didn't think so, but he had no intention of bursting his bubble just yet.* "Continue." *He told Alinae. She could do the spell on her own if she need to---they both could, but she could much more easily than Dimah. Magic flowed through her veins where there should be blood*
Aerona Lyvanna [2:59 PM]
-They really were adorable. There was a time Nil would just have keep yelling. Was she learning? She look curious at the young woman before shaking her head. Without missing a beat she continued her arms raised as the people followed her gestures mirroring them her power spilling out over the crowd. Her control perfect as the daggers were raised and she paused pressing them into their skin blood trickling allowing them enough conscious thought to know what was about to happen but powerless to stop it allowing the fear to rise in the area. Waiting before she would move forward her eyes on her God.-
Rehor Lyvanna [4:04 PM]
"Yes, but that doesn't mean I am perfect. Serial killers need an M.O. don't they?" *When he had told her those things he had been the God-killer, and sure people are still being killed for imperfection under his name.* "Yes." *He would not starve in the manner that Nilyne or another human might, but it would not be pleasant.* "I am the god of fear and pain, and what will cause people bigger fear than knowing that at any moment that you and hundreds if not thousands of people--including yourself--could go outside and slit your own throats just like that. And what pain is greater than grief?"
Aureline Rose [4:24 PM]
The look of sadness that crossed her face might have been enough to melt even the coldest heart tears streaming down her face "It seems we are at an impasse. Because I don't know what yo do. To let all those people die goes against everything I am but how do I ask someone to go hungry. Someone that is really just trying to do the best he can with the hand he was dealt. A case could be made for either do the most good save all those souls and eliminate all that pain from the world. Or help the one person who you know who you care about what happens to. Funny that being stuck here in one of the oldest debates. And since I can't ask you to suffer and I won'y be able to live with myself if I don't save them all I can do is add one more soul to the fire." She picked up one of the knives to her neck copying the rest. "I think maybe you were right. Maybe a piece of me did belong to you after all."
Defrim Rose [4:36 PM]
"Yes." His attempt to delay the spell just enough to prevent it from happening doesn't seem to be working. It wasn't over. He could still stop it right? He snapped his eyes upon hearing his sister. It seemed that she was coming to the same conclusion that he had--that stopping this might not be an option or as easy of an option as they might belief. He watched her pick up that knife and bring it to her neck. "Nilyne, no" He moved away from Dimah, rushing towards his sister to yank that knife out of her hand.
Dimah Moroz [4:39 PM]
*One moment Aleksis was standing before him and the next he was rushing towards Nilyne. For a brief second, Dimah was confused by the reason why than he noticed the knife the red head was pressing against his throat. Now that was desperate. Her attempts to goad Aias into doing what she wished didn't work now she was trying to guilt trip him into doing what she wished.*
Aerona Lyvanna [4:43 PM]
-She blinked pausing moving forward let it build for a moment no harm there but she couldn't just risk Nil's life withot a gesture from Aias. They might have to physically move her. Was she trying to guilt him? Or was she just really that upset? Nilyne's emotional state was such a strange thing. Her eyes moving to Dimah as if to ask now what.-
Rehor Lyvanna [5:37 PM]
*If the look of sadness moved Aias it didn't show* "People die all the time. In fact, every two second someone is dying. Some in truly horrific circumstance. You cannot save them all. You cannot keep death from coming and collecting its due. You will not eliminate all the pain from the world by stopping their death. but if it means so much to you I will spare their lives." *He had no other choice. She tied her hand. Whether threaten her own life because she hoped it would get him to way or because she was just that upset, he didn't know. It didn't matter. He could not risk her life. He turned towards Alinae and Dimah* "Stop the spell." *His attention moved back towards Nilyne* "Just so you deaths have to happen to bring me back. I cannot change that. There are some rules of the universe I cannot break, and death demands a certain number of souls for my rebirth. Since I will no longer have my spell to direct death to the souls he can take it will take randomly from the city. I cannot tell you which souls will perish this day, but let me ask you something do you see any children here?" *He gestured towards those gathered.* "And are you really ready to gamble with your brother's life or the life of anyone you might care about like Roselyn?"
Aureline Rose [6:01 PM]
"That doesn't mean we encourage it. Perhaps you just can't see it as I do because fundamental we will always view it differently. We are always going to see it different. I am not even sure I can explain it. Perhaps because there is so much death that can't be stopped because it is fate or whatever that these deaths that I can affect are different. If it was their choice to be here it would be different and I know death cares not for choice but we are not death. And quite frankly the hell with him and whoever made the rule that to bring back one damn God so many have to die. They want a big gesture fine. They can have my life for every time I am freaking reborn." She eyed her brother as she gave him a weak mile before looking back. "I want no deaths not different ones. But like I said I don't want you to suffer."
It put her in the strangest of places. "Why these people?" She said asking him as she looked around trying to figure out if they had something in common or if it was all by chance. One never knew with Aias as she was quickly learning her eyes considering.
Defrim Rose [6:23 PM]
He knew that just because he took the knife from his sister this didn't mean she couldn't take another. There were many more she could easily grabbed, but that didn't mean he couldn't try. He turned his eyes towards Aias. Did the man speak the truth? Or was these just words he said in order to convince Nilyne to stop trying to stop their death? He wouldn't be shocked to discover it was. Yet, at the same time he knew that while Aias was regarded as a god he never painted himself as all powerful or all knowing. Thus it was possible he spoke the truth. His sister like always asked a good question. Why these people and not others. He thought he didn't know the answer than it hit him. He had paid more attention to the whisper within the compound than he thought. "Because they are criminals."
Dimah Moroz [6:29 PM]
*Dimah stopped the spell, but he didn't dismantle it on the off chance that Aias and Nilyne came to some agreement that allowed the spell to continue. He smiled at Aleksis words. He was prospective, but it was not solely because he paid attention to whispers of the compound, but rather because those connected to a god in the manner such as they found themselves being able to see and understand things no one else could. He moved to stand next to Alinae, saying nothing. This was a conversation between his god and his god's wife. Dimah was certain that Aias would say what he was thinking---what he knew about these criminals that might convince Nilyne to stop fighting against his will*
Aerona Lyvanna [7:19 PM]
-She also only paused keeping a tight hold on the spell not to lose it completely. It took a bit of effort as she raised her hand wiping blood from her nose. Another couldn't hold it like this but Dimah and her were chosen of the God of fear and pain. She reached out taking Dimah's hand waiting calmly.-
Rehor Lyvanna [8:10 PM]
"It doesn't work that way. Death demands the full payment now not later." *He laughed at her words.* "Do you not understand how the world works? Death is not something that can be stopped while the world keeps turning. Is that what you want? For the world to stop turning? For the people to find themselves stuck---not alive nor dead, but frozen in place like little dolls put on display." *His eyes moved towards Aleksis nodding his head.* "Yes, the are criminals. Many are my copycat killers, but others have been more original in their killing." *He moved down the step, sliding his arm around one of the men standing there waiting to be told to end his own life.* "This man for example have a thing for children between two and five. He has killed six already. He kidnaps them, tortures them, rapes them--most of the time with objects." *He than moved to another--an older woman about fifty.*"This woman has been killing for twenty years. She takes in runaway teens--usually pregnant. She convinces the young mothers to give her custody of their children, but pay her to care for them. She helps the mothers find a new place to stay, and once the mothers is out of her home she kills the babies, but keeps collecting money from the mother to pay for their care."
Aureline Rose [8:31 PM]
She eyed him as he moved. "But you don't care who you kill." She said in a whisper because he didn't. He just needed to feed the victims didn't matter. Had h picked his victims with her in mind? She felt like she was missing an important detail and that detail didn't even have to do with Aias but with her. With her past and with something she had been told. "The day I showed up at your door soaked. I had been chasing a killer. We had ended up in this old aquarium where he had kept children that he had lured there. Drowned them in these big tanks where they remained. I fell in surrounded by these boated corpses their eyes following me...accusing me for not getting there sooner. I managed to get out and to silence those eyes forever I led him to those tanks and made sure he drowned. All I smelled after that was death. I became so very unlike myself at that moment. But I also knew i wanted to be a doctor to help as many as I could. But what happens when the bad guys can't be caught. Maybe that is what Gods are for? We say people always get punished in the end some form of judgment perhaps it isn't what we imagine."
Truth be told she had no idea. Maybe it made her a bad person to think this way. She didn't know. Maybe there was no way to be a good person. Maybe all you could do was be she didn't know. "Once upon a time as the saying goes..an eye for an eye." Her eyes drifting towards Alinae and Dimah. "Go ahead." She said stepping forward hiding her face in Aias's chest in order to not see what happened next.

Truth be told, Aleksis only wished to stop the ritual for two reason. The first being that it was what his sister wanted. She had a bigger heart than him. It was why she went into the criminal field to catch killers. She would cry whenever she heard on the news someone being murdered in gruesome manners. Aleksis did not. There were those whom believed he had no heart, but those whom knew him realized how untrue this was. The other reason was to defy the man whom he blamed for breaking his sister--the most important person in his life. There was no doubt within his mind that Aias spoke the truth---those gathered here were the worse of the worse, and he knew as soon as that information was clear to him what his sister was going to do. While it was true Nilyne had a bigger heart than him she understood the meaning of an eye for an eye better than most.
Dimah Moroz [9:07 PM]
*Dimah seeing the blood upon Alinae's nose hoped that they did not have to wait long to continue the spell or even god forbid end it completely. He wasn't certain how long Alinae would be able to hold onto it. While it was true that both of them would gladly give their lives for their god that did not mean he would not moan her passing. He did not wish to exist within a world without his heart. He nodded his head at Nilyne words and moved on to complete the spell. He was glad he held on ending the spell. He knew that Aias would someone convince her to allow it to happen*
Aerona Lyvanna [9:24 PM]
-Alinae breathed a sigh of relief when Nilyne said to continue. The girl's heart was both her curse and her blessing. She moved the gesture making the cutting gesture down the neck through the gut the inside spilling out as the blood ran down the paths towards the alter lighting the stones. The forces going into the heavens pulling Aias's full being towards his body.-
Rehor Lyvanna [9:45 PM]
"I don't, but you do." *He had picked his victim with her in mind. He didn't need her blessing to complete the ritual. He could kill all those gathered here and keep her alive--even if she gave best attempt to join them. Yet, he wanted to see if he could get her blessing. No, that was not right. It wasn't that he was wanting to see if he could get it. He knew that he could. He knew Nilyne better than she knew himself, at least the part of she liked to deny.* "That is where you are mistaken. What you did to that man was very much you. You are an avenging angel and mercy doesn't always have a role in justice." *What did it mean to be a good person? Did it mean never hurting another person no matter what the other person had done? He would not wish to exist within a world where the right thing was turning the other check when bad things happened? Through, he never claimed to be good. He was a being that followed his own rules, and there was no doubt within in his mind that people would think hew as a monster.* "Nothing is as you mortals have painted it. Sometimes you get glimpses, but that does not allow you to paint the whole picture." *He nodded his head, staying where he was at while Nilyne buried her head into his chest while the spell was completed*
Aureline Rose [9:58 PM]
"And how did you know I would be here?" She said softly. His words caused her to frown. "I don't know about that." She could almost feel their pain or so she imagined. She couldn't see from where she was hiding not that she wanted to. Instead she almost felt like there was a strange release as she glanced slightly up. Doubting this was part of the spell but could be for all she knew but it looked like victims being released moving on now that their killers were being brought to justice. An image crossing her mind a younger her and Alek going to play in the attic her brother's hands going over her eyes. She frowned. That was the day she decided she would catch the bad guys. The tears moving down her cheeks afraid to ask the question. "Is my father here?" (>.>)

Defrim Rose [10:21 PM]
Aleksis knew the answer to that question, but he kept his lips sealed. His eyes stayed pinned upon the souls gathered here this day. He watched them kill them self--each moving in perfect unison. They had just enough awareness to be afraid, but try as they might they could not keep themselves from slicing themselves open. There was something poetic about their death. The spell had been cast in such a way that while death was assured that it was going to be as painful as possible. They were going to suffer more than their victims ever had. "He is." It was impossible for him to miss the man. He was standing directly within his line of sight. "So is mother." (edited)
Dimah Moroz [10:28 PM]
*It did not escape Dimah that if he had not been Aias' high priest that he might have been with those whom were dying at this very moment. He had been what people would call a serial killer before he found his true calling and truth be told he still was. He killed people to make his paint---drained them of their blood. Some might even say worse yet he felt no death over it. Truth be told, knowing this did not cause him to have this overwhelming desire to reform. He felt no guilt over the life he had taken, but he did feel for Nilyne he knew what it was like to have parents whom did horrible things.*
Aerona Lyvanna [10:31 PM]
_Truth be told Dimah and her would make Nilyne's naughty list but Aias would protect them both. It was just one of those things. She didn't need to answer she just let the spell take its course the power flowing into Aias binding him to this form for good as she stumbled a bit.-
Rehor Lyvanna [10:40 PM]
"I know you. Only death had a small chance of keeping you from this place." *They all would make Nilyne's naughty list, but she was not without reason. While she didn't like seeing people die she could make exceptions. She forgave Aias for those he killed because they were necessary for his survival. She could do the same for others. This was the reason that those killers gathered here this day were not ones whose mind was plagued with insanity. All those gathered here were those whom were very aware of what they had done. Dimah and Alinae were very similar to Aleksis and Nilyne they were children whom had to endure horrors beyond anyone's imagination, but it was not that which he believed Nilyne would excuse their actions. It was the fact as his high priest and high priestess they were an extension of him, and as such they shared his hunger. It might not be as great as his, but it was enough. He smiled at Nilyne knowing she will learn the answer without him saying a thing* (edited)
Aureline Rose [11:03 PM]
"Mom? And Dad?" She said her voice cracking as she turned to be greeted by the scene in front of her. Her mind taking in the gore that surrounded her. For a moment she struggled not to withdraw into that safe place in her mind. The pain the people around her must be in. Their inside spilling out like some kind of operation having gone astray. The smell assaulted her nose from the release of bodily functions and fluids as she vomited on her own shoes till left dry heaving moving forward stepping across the ground stumbling, falling in the mess covered in blood as she rose up to touch her mother's face. "How long since I saw you last. The interview I think? All the time it was all a lie and not just my being well after Aias our life. Our perfect family...I was the perfect daughter, the reflection of our perfect family."
"Our perfectly broken family...not Alek and I but you and father. People aren't toys. They are people. I was going to shine so bright that everyone would see me and no one would ignore what I had to say. And I did. You wanted to be proud of us for all the wrong reasons. For glory and money or fame. You should have been proud because we both learned to stand by our beliefs no matter who we had to fight even you. For our wills of steel. But you aren't because those are the things that won't allow us to let you hurt people. And you probably can't hear me." She said taking a step back as the bodies started to fall around her. Her guess being that the spell was ending.
Her eyes drifting towards her father as he fell forward. Rubbing her eyes as she stood there for the longest time before whispering. "Damn you to hell."
Defrim Rose [11:21 PM]
"Yes." He didn't know how much she remember. It wasn't because he thought her insanity caused her to forget. It might have for all he knew. He just didn't know how much he remembered. There were times he thought he made it all up. He wasn't certain how to approach the subject to her. What would he say? Do you remember finding those girls in the attic? Do you remember staying up at night listening to their cries? What if it had all been a dream fueled by his anger towards his parents? What if the worse thing their parents had done was push Nilyne when they should have been sheltering her? What would Nilyne think of him? Would that make them both insane? He did not vomit like his sister did, but he didn't find the smell pleasant either. "It doesn't matter if she can hear you or not. You say those things for your sake not hers."
Dimah Moroz [11:25 PM]
"She can hear you." *He told the James sibling.* "They both can." *He didn't know what that knowledge would mean to them. but he decided they should know. He knew how good it felt to be able to strike out against those whom had did you wrong--especially when those people were your own parents. He wrapped his arms around Alinae, helping to keep her upright*
Aerona Lyvanna [11:29 PM]
-She leaned into Dimah watching the James siblings. The spell was complete and she was feeling zapped but she would manage as long as need be.- Indeed. "Her voice sounded weak despite having not been used this whole time.-
Rehor Lyvanna [11:34 PM]
*It seemed that Nilyne wished to confront her parents and he had no desired to stop her---even if he could. The ending of the spell required him to go deep into himself. He was only vaguely aware of what was going on outside him until he was not aware at all. This lasted for a few seconds and when he 'woke up' he was finally fully connected to a body that could hold his full power. He moved his finger. He forget what it felt like to be whole.* "If it makes you feel better that is where he is going--where they all are going." *Well, in a manner of speaking. Their pain and fear will be eternal.*
Aureline Rose [11:48 PM]
She blinked. "Yes, no. Not sure. A part of me hates to think of anyone suffering for all time but another par says ha." She nodded at her brother. It seemed now he knew the answer about those memories. She keep trying to wipe her face but ding so with blood on her hands seemed to defeat the point. "What a mess." She said glancing around.
Defrim Rose [12:12 AM]
"I'm glad" Was it wrong to find joy in the idea that they would spend an eternity within hell? Was it worse to admit aloud? Was it wrong to think that even if it was that he didn't care?
Dimah Moroz [12:18 AM]
*He didn't think it was wrong, but one might argue that he wasn't the best judge about such things. He didn't think killing was wrong. He didn't look at those being killed this day to bring his god back to his true power as horrific monsters that needed to be brought to justice. He didn't care what crimes they had committed--as long as they never hurt those he cared about they could do whatever they wanted.* "I'm taking Alinae home." *He told Aias---request it really. He didn't move until he was granted permission from his god* (edited)
Aerona Lyvanna [12:20 AM]
-She looked at Aias not saying a word home sounded good but as she said she would stay as long as needed. She also cared not about their crimes or if it was bad to want them dead. She only cared about the success of the spell.-
Rehor Lyvanna [12:28 AM]
"You can go home." *Aias told his high priest and high priestess* "Then don't think of it." *If he sounded insensitive that wasn't his intent.* "Yes, we'll need to get you cleaned up" *He reached his hand out to wipe some of that blood off her face*
Defrim Rose [12:29 AM]
(Just so everyone knows I think Victorian style house is my favorite.)
Aureline Rose [12:33 AM]
She looked at him as he wiped some blood off her face. "What about all of this?" She said gesturing around.
Defrim Rose [12:35 AM]
"They have ways to clean this up. Tomorrow if we walk by it I am sure there will be no evidence of what happened here." As if to prove their point some of the lower members of the compound moved forward to start cleaning up the mess
Dimah Moroz [12:35 AM]
*Once granted permission by his god, Dimah had lifted Alinae into his arms and he was gone*
Aerona Lyvanna [12:36 AM]
-She smiled as she was lifted up and carried away.-
Rehor Lyvanna [12:39 AM]
"Your brother is right. This will be cleaned by tomorrow at the latest." *Before she could protest any further he vanished with her*
Aureline Rose [12:41 AM]
She looked around about to speak when off she went.Stupid Gods.
Defrim Rose [12:42 AM]
And Aleksis was left alone. He could sit and watch the cleaning process take place, but he decided that he rather walk. There was something about watching a lot of people die that made you feel restless
