"For picking on you? I think you need to reexamine the meaning of that phase again because what I have done is no where close to being defined as picking on someone." He went from being somewhat amused to slightly annoyed. "I'm sure that frustrated you."

"It did. It sounded like such a beautiful animal. I really wanted it to exist. One would think I would have known better than to fall for such a ruse. It appears I still miss the obvious. The question is who are you now. Is the forest your home?"

"Perhaps it does. What might be can be, and there is no greater might be than the creation of one's imagination." He recall hearing those word from his sister many times. Not as she is now, but when they both had been their original selves. "Did I pull such a ruse often?" He glanced around the forest. "It is. It has been my home for years beyond counting."

"With others? Not so much. With me a fair amount. Perhaps because of our closeness." She just offered a smile. "I have always been better at believing in others imaginations over my own." She looked around. "Ah. It is lovely."

"That might be" It was more than a might. It was. Shae and perhaps this was still true tended to play pranks upon those he was closest too. Truth be told, it showed how close he felt towards a person. If he pulled a prank on you that meant he liked you. "Yours just as valid. It is better than what is out there."

More than some might have said that. There might have only been a few whom knew better and he had a feeling that such a thing would be true if he had went out there instead of remaining where he was at. "Than you will stay here."

After hearing his words she blinked. "I don't want to put you out. But it would be nice. People can be so horrid and I have felt so lost." She said wrapping her arms around herself.

"I would not have mentioned it if it would put me out." He smiled at her words as if he knew just how horrid people can be, and in more than one way he did. He had bore witness to just how horrid people could be more times than he count. "You are now found." He told her, wrapping his own arms around her and pulling her close.

She had looked a very long time. She nuzzled closer as he wrapped his arms around her. "Can we go home now? I am so sleepy."

"We are home, but I will take you to your bed." With that said he lifted her up and carried her off to where her bed would be waiting.
